Saturday night love

Mom and I were sitting in her office waiting on dad to come back with the coffee. While we were waiting Kate, Sarah, and Aidy walked in, Kate was holding a big box with a bow on it then handed it to me

"here ya go kiddo" she said kindly

"ok" I said jokingly

I pulled back the paper I looked inside and saw a contract

"what" i said with an eyebrow raised

"we want you to be an official part of SNL "Aidy said excitedly

"REALLY?!?" I screamed

"yeah" Sarah said

"so that's why Lorne was asking me all those questions " I realized

"AWWWW did I miss it?" Dad said rushing in.

I still couldn't breathe I was so happy he put me in as a writer. Later on I was laying on the couch typing away on my laptop writing scripts for the pitch meeting tomorrow when Kate broke the silence

"I'm hungry" everyone looked up from their computers

"me too" Aidy added

"let's go get something to eat" mom suggested

we all agreed and hopped in an über. We ended up going to some Italian place. Aidy made me laugh so hard my drink shot straight out of my nose, after I got cleaned up we made our way back to the studio then I started working on my skits again it seemed like five seconds but it was actually five hours

"ready to go girlie" mom said

"yeah" I said yawning.

We all got in the cab I rested my head on moms shoulder then felt her head on mine dad took a picture but we were to tired to care.
