Show stopper

Today was the day, the day I get to be in the same show with Mariska Hargitay! I wanted the day to begin as soon as possible so I set my alarm for 6:20. My dial tone went off, I sat straight up

"happy birthday bitch!" I smiled as I whispered to myself trying not to wake mom and dad up, apparently they snuck into my room the night before because there was a wrapped box on top of my dresser that had happy birthday on the tag. I quietly ripped the paper back and saw a jewelry box when I opened it I almost cried, it was a charm bracelet with an SNL charm, a Statue of Liberty charm,and a small cut picture of the cast. I quickly put it on and smiled to myself as I saw another box sitting in my closet right below what I was going to wear, I walked over and opened the box where there was picture frame of all of the cast. I didn't want to cry but it was to late for that now. Under the frame was another picture of when I fell asleep holding Jack's hand in the hospital. Then was the real tear jerker, it was a Polaroid of mom and dad holding me when I was born

"Kristen took that one, it's my favorite" mom was standing behind me in her pink stripped pajama pants and grey t T-shirt.

I jumped up and hugged her with tears rolling down my face

"go get ready I'll meet you at the studio" she said crying along with me, when she walked out I got dressed and ran downstairs to make my coffee but to my surprise there was already coffee there. I grabbed the cup and ran outside to find Jack with some flowers and a small box

"happy birthday princess" I ran to him and kissed his face about a million times until he got in the cab with me. We pulled up to the studio only to find no one was there.

"I'm gonna come back tonight to watch the show, I love you" he kissed my forehead and walked out of my office.

I didn't have to wait long for everyone to get there so to pass time I hung my new pictures up in my office. When I got the last one up Aidy walked in with a box and sat at her desk then all at once everyone filled the room

"why is everyone in here" I finally asked

"we're gonna have a small party before the show tonight but we're waiting on Keenan to get here with the damn food" Aidy said in her bitchy tone as usual

"well if we have to wait lets make it fun, open your shit" Kate said smiling at me from the couch.

I turned around in my office chair while everyone sat either on the floor or in a beanbag around me. I randomly grabbed a gift, the first one I grabbed was from Cecily, it was an adorable keychain with my name on it and a super cute infinity scarf

"I love it!" I squealed, she just smiled and nodded.

The next one I grabbed was from Beck, it was a huge unicorn pillow and a naked3 pallet

"thankyouthankyouthankyou!" He smiled and hugged me

"no prob kiddo"

I grabbed the next gift, it was a HUGE box and all it said was happy birthday, no name or anything. I unwrapped the box only to find a smaller box inside and inside that one an even smaller box then I finally got to the gift that made me jump up and run outside.

They were car keys! I quickly jumped outside only to find Keenan outside leaning against a candy apple red mustang

"OH. MY. GOD." I felt like I was gonna pass out but everyone came flooding out of the doors before I could,

"ya like it?"  Dad said putting his arm around me looking down

"Well yeah!" I ran to the car and jumped inside

"wanna go for a test drive?" Dad asked leaning into the car like a prostitute

"yeah" I said trying not to scream.

We went a few blocks before we came back to the studio

"thank you guys so much, you have no idea how much I love you guys!" I hugged everyone before locking the car and going back into the studio and opening the rest of my presents until it was time for the first show.

"Alright let's do this shit!" I said standing on top of the office table.

The first show went great and so did the second, I didn't notice all of mine and Jack's friend sitting in the front row as soon as I saw them my face got smashed into a birthday cake, the crowd went wild but as soon as I sat up everyone stopped laughing and instead started yelling, I looked down and saw blood.

Apparently I had a nosebleed from hitting the cake so hard but luckily Aidy had a tampon in her back pocket and stuck it up my nose, everyone thought it was part of the skit and started laughing again. The rest of the night we partied and laughed till we peed. I didn't even go to sleep that night because no one did, we were having to much fun to even think about sleep.
