Wedding plans

Mom walked into the living room with a binder full of papers

"uh mom whatcha doin?" I said as she plopped the binder on the couch

"these are my wedding plans"

I was so ready for them to get married "so have you decided on a day?"

She paused "yes actually, June 18th of next year"

"ooh pretty" I said as dad walked in with moms coffee

"hello ladies" mom kissed dads cheek when he sat down

"oh and one more thing" mom said before I went to my room

"yeah?"

Mom looked at dad and smiled "I want you to be my maid of honor"

I froze right before responding "YES!!" I ran over to hug them

"I'm so excited" mom said with dad and i squeezing her as tight as we could.

Later in the day Aidy, Cecily, and Kate came over to discuss the plans and eat. Dad left to meet with the guys while we went dress shopping. Mom wanted us all to have a white dress with some sort of mint green in it, we tried a lot of them on but decided to try somewhere else on Sunday. Dad came home a little tipsy, mom had a few glasses of wine so I you can probably guess what happened next...
