Doctor

After lunch I invited Jack to come back to the cabin with us, I was in the mood to cuddle.

"Sorry I can't"

"But whyyyy" I said wrapping my arms around his neck.

"I have to help Carrigan move into her new apartment"

"Ugh fine. Tell her I said hi" I sighed

"Will do sweet thang!"

"Sweet thang?"

"Yeah no, that was weird"

"Yeah don't do that again"

"Okay, I have to go. I love you" He leaned down to kiss me so I grabbed his face and kissed him passionately proving he wasn't gay (nothing wrong with that)

"Love you too" I winked and walked back to the cab Kate had called for all of us.

An hour later

I was talking to mom and Kate about when the season started back, both dad and Jay were leaving and I was super bummed.

"I just wish they didn't have to go, Taran is such a good guy to have around and Jay is hilarious"

"You realize Taran lives with us" mom said cocking an eyebrow "and Jay is going to be a groomsman in our wedding"

"It's not the same"

I felt the familiar stinging coming from my eyes and that horrible lump in my throat, I knew I could see them anytime I wanted but it wasn't the same as working with them, sitting in the office writing and singing as one big happy family, The SNL family.

"I'm gonna miss them" Kate looked down at her glass of water.

"Hey, at least if I get pregnant our kids can have play dates" mom said trying to lighten the mood.

"Yeah and Liv can watch em'" she giggled

"Excuse me?"

"Don't worry I'll pay you"

"Good" I chuckled and poured myself a small glass of orange juice.

Kate walked to the couch and sat down turning on the tv "come sit" she patted the spot beside her and flashed that big bright smile.

I sat to the right of her and propped my feet up on the coffee table, she turned and put her feet in my lap and fell asleep, I went to sleep about three minutes after she did with my legs curled up into my chin.

Kate woke me up about thirty minutes later "look" she stood up and pointed to a dark red spot on the couch.

"What is that"

"Blood" she started to freak out and cry "that's not supposed to happen, this can't be fucking happening"

"I thought you said everything was good"

"I thought it was!"

"Ok we need to get you to your doctor."

I threw on a hoodie and some sweatpants while she called everyone and let them know what was happening. Beck came with us obviously, it was his baby.

They made me stay in the waiting room while the other two went back with the doctor. Mom started calling me over and over forcing me to answer. "What?" I said rubbing my eyes.

"Is she okay?!"

"I don't know yet"

"We're coming down"

"No d-"

She hung up before I could finish my sentence. "Olivia?" The nurse came into the waiting room with a clipboard. I waved at her letting her know who I was, she led me into the room where Kate and Beck were and I started to freak out again.

"So? What's happening?!"

"Well the doctor said my body produced too much blood and tissue, if I didn't bleed the baby wouldn't grow so it shed some of the uterine lining"

"In english please"

"She's fine" she wiped her eyes and smiled

"Oh thank god"

Mom came rushing into the room with Aidy and Cec "are you okay?! Is the baby okay?!"

"She's fine Vanessa"

Mom sighed and hugged her tightly "good. That's really good" she smiled her huge warm smile and hugged Kate again.

"Vanessa?" Kate looked up from the examination table.

"Yes?"

Kate then whispered something in her ear and hugged her tightly. Beck sat with is eyes focused on Kate, a big goofy smile spread across his face and  eyes full of love.

We helped Kate get into the cab and made our way back to the cabin. I sat on the far right of the car in the very back with Aidy on the left and Cecily in the middle,in front of us were mom, Kate, and Beck. I leaned to put my head on Cecily's shoulder and drifted off into space until we got back. "Can we go swimming" Cecily said out of nowhere

"What?" Aidy laughed

"It's hot an there's a lake right there, why not use it"

"I'm in" I agreed

We all agreed to go for a swim and walked into the cabin so we could change.

"Stripes or Aztec?" Cecily held up two bikinis with beautiful colors.

"I don't know, go ask Kate"
