Take em down

Lorne had selected the two members competing that day, it was Amy and Tina...not the best choice if you want to play safe but if you want to win...I could already tell we were going to win.

We arrived to the 'challenge area' which was just an open space in the woods a few yards away from the cabins. Amy and Tina were stretching and everyone else was moving to the area where everyone else was talking to them from behind the barriers blocking them from entering the course.

Mom and I yelled for Amy to walk over to us, when she did mom patted my back "your better at pep talks" I looked back over at Amy with a blank expression on my face.

"do you have a plan?" She looked back at Tina and yelled for her to join us "no we do not"

"okay so here's what your going to do, since you have to switch to the other halfway Tina you need to start, by the looks of it Amy needs to do because that bar at the end looks really close to the ground and well Amy isn't exactly the tallest person in the world"

"hey!" Amy said punching my arm

"okay so you have a plan now" Amy nodded

"take em down" Tina nodded in response, when she did I knew we would win.

Amy got to the halfway mark and Tina took her place, the gunshot rang through the air and Tina was already halfway to the halfway point.

Amy got into a running position right before Tina slapped her hand, Amy was off and about a yard ahead of Jimmy, she climbed the rope wall and went under the pole all that was left were two simple hurdles, she jumped the first one and then the second, "and the SNL crew has won!" We heard come from a speaker somewhere.

We all cheered and ran back to the cabins with Amy and Tina on Keenan and dads shoulders. Off to a great start, the flag looked great from the dining room window
