Day of Wedding

"Shit Vanessa suck in!" Aidy said pulling mom's dress up past her belly.

"I don't know if you've realized yet but I have a human fetus growing in me, so I mean...I can't do much for you."

"Ugh, where the hell is Kate, she said she would be here on time." Cecily groaned.

"She's been with her mom all week, give her some time!" Mom had to use me as a support structure wile she pulled the dress past her boobs. "Aidy, shit don't pull it too tight, you'll crush him!"

"Speaking of 'him' does he have a name yet?" Cecily said still looking out the door for Kate.

"No"

"You need to get on that." Right as Cecily finished that sentence there was a knock at the door, I pushed past Cecily and cracked the door open.

"Hey is Vanessa in there?" Kate smiled.

"Yeah, you're right on time"

"No she's not" Cecily scowled.

"Be nice" I snapped at her and attacked Kate with a bear hug.

"Hey Ness, how's it going" Kate smiled crookedly and held out her arms. They both hugged each other tightly as yet another knock came from the door.

Cecily answered it and started to freak out "no, go away Taran! It's bad luck to see the bride in her dress before you get married!!" She tried shoving him but failed.

"Hang on Cec, I have an idea" Aidy stepped down from the wooden box she was standing on to help mom into her dress and walked to the door, "okay so Vanessa you stand here" she positioned mom with her back to the door "and Taran you stand there" she put him the same way on the opposite side of the door, Aidy snapped a picture of the 'moment' they were having and sat on the small couch across the room and motioned for us to join her.

"Vanessa?" Dad grabbed her hand.

"Yep?"

"I love you, a-and I promise I will never ever hurt you, I promise to be with you through thick and thin and I promise that I will take care of you and Liv, and whatever his name may be forever and ever."

"Pinkie swear?" Mom held up her finger for him to grab.

"Pinkie swear".

At the reception

"So I-uh I didn't really prepare a speech so I'm just gonna do what I do best, improvise. I only found out that these people were my parent a year ago but so much has happened since the, things that brought us closer and some that made us want to walk away, but we stayed together and loved each other unconditionally. I hope that you both are forever happy, I love you." I sat beside mom and hugged her tightly, Kate was on the opposite side of me looking over at Beck, every time he would look over she would look away, she knew how much it was hurting him but it hurt her just as much.
