Cabin fever

We had about two hours until we left for the games, Mom was getting all of her stuff together and so was dad, I was actually smart enough to pack my stuff the night before so I wouldn't be running around like a chicken with its damn head cut off.

"hey honey will you bring me my makeup bag?" I looked at her as dad came in holding her bag.

"so let me get this straight, we're going to be in the woods sweating out asses off and your still gonna bring your makeup?"

"Well yeah, I can be in the woods and still look hot can't I?"

I  chuckled at her response and let them finish packing. They finally got done packing right on time.

we were hauling our bags outside when a huge tour bus rolled up right in front of our apartment building, I saw Amy's head pop out the window as she said "what are you turtles!? quit staring and move it!"

We climbed onto the bus where everyone but Aidy, Kate, Beck, and Cecily were. I sat down across from Maya and Kristen, they were both looking at pictures from when they were still on the show.

Maya finally noticed me and said "hey! Come over here and sit with us, the couch is actually pretty comfortable!"

I smiled and moved over to where they were sitting.

"so are you ready?" Kristen asked me with one eyebrow raised

"yeah, your gonna be the youngest NBC member there" Maya looked at me.

I dropped my eyebrows and rolled my eyes "gee guys, thanks for making me feel confident" I said sarcastically.

Maya was about to say something but the bus stopped right before she could get the words out "ooh it's my turn!" She grabbed Kristen's hand and ran out the doors of the bus and grabbed Kate's bags, on the way in I heard Kate say "guys I'm pregnant, not handicap"

Keenan then stepped in "you really think they care?"

"Fair point" Kate, Beck, and Aidy all sat down beside mom, Keenan, and Bobby, I'm pretty sure dad was thrown in there but I didn't see him.

When we finally picked Cecily up she was a mess, she was still in her pajamas on, her makeup was smeared, and her hair was a mess.

"What happened" mom said trying not to laugh.

Seth walked over and said "hey Cec, have fun?"

She rolled her eyes and went to the small bathroom to hook up her straightener and came back to sit down between mom and Amy to brush her hair. Tina jumped up and ran over to the bathroom "gotta pee, gotta pee, gotta pee" she said as fast as she possibly could

"she's had the smallest bladder since she had her second kid" Amy said looking back from the bathroom.

We stopped at a fairly new gas station and decided to get out and grab some snacks and whatnot.

I grabbed a big thing of Doritos and a diet Mountain Dew to balance out the calories (not really but whatever) when everyone got their food we all got back onto the bus and started eating, Kate had gotten one of those big pizzas for herself.

"don't leave yet!" I yelled at the driver, I ran into the bus and got about four pizzas for all of us to share, because I'm a nice person!

"alright! Is everyone here?" Lorne said like he had to keep up with all of us like we were on a field trip

"we're all here!" Maya said after counting everyone. I was excited to se who my cabin was going to be with, there were two cabins for each show competing, there was only one rule for staying in the house, don't break anything...
