Hospitalized

When the guy left I called the cops and told them we needed an ambulance. When the cops there moms face was soaked and her mascara was smeared all down her face, Cecily's face was the same way, I wasn't crying I was just standing there in shock at what just happened.

I got into the ambulance with mom and dad then all at once everything came pouring out. I was sobbing so hard I could barely hear the nurse tell me to get out.

I didn't even go into the hospital with them, I just sat on the curb and cried. A young woman came up behind me and asked if she could sit with me, I was crying to hard to speak so I just nodded "what's wrong kid?" She smiled at me with kind eyes

"well my aunt just almost got raped and my dad got stabbed so..."

She looked at me and took a second then gave me the tightest hug "it'll be alright" she looked at me and gave me another smile

"go be with your family" she stood up with me and hugged me again. When I went looking for dad mom grabbed me and said "he's in surgery"

I grabbed her and held her tightly, and whispered "I love you"
