Far far away

It was Sunday, the day before the pitch meeting, which was the day I was supposed to meet Mariska.

I might pass out if she touches me, walked to my office, down the hallway and through the door. Mom was sitting in her office chair at her computer talking to someone, I threw down my laptop bag and walked over to mom and threw my arms around her neck from behind her, "ok see ya soon" she said right before hanging up.

"What was that about" I was wondering why she was at the office on a Sunday anyway

"nothing. I have to go home and grab a few things " she said hugging me with her jacket thrown over her arm

"bye! See you later" she walked out of the office and down the hall

"okay? That was weird" I thought to myself as I said sitting down at me desk to start thinking of ideas for skits when Jonah texted me

"hey can you watch Selina today" I wanted to get some work done but I also wanted to see my baby

"yeah I'll be there in five"

I left all of my stuff in the office except my phone and called an über. When I got to Their apartment Jonah and Lilly were in the middle of a huge argument, Jonah handed the baby off to me and gave me her car seat

"I'll call you if I need you" I said worryingly

"ok see ya later and if this shit drags out she might have to stay with you tonight too" he looked like he was hurt, not physically but emotionally.
