I Love You

Later that night when everyone went home, I started to get in my car but mom stopped me "hey baby" she smiled and held her arms out for a hug.

"Hi" I said crashing into her arms holding her tightly.

"God, I love you so much" she started crying again.

"I love you too, I'm going to the same place you are...why are you crying?"

"What? You aren't going back with your 'fiancé'"

Jack snuck up behind me and slid his hands through my arms and around my waist, lightly resting his head on my shoulder. "I mean if you guys will be okay without me..."

"Honey, it's- it's fine, you just got engaged. Go!"

"Ok. I love you." I kissed her cheek and gave her another tight squeeze. Jack and I headed up to his apartment and just sat in his empty room holding each other "where are your parents man?" I giggled.

"Their on a trip but don't worry they saw the whole thing, your mom was FaceTiming them"

"I can't believe I'm engaged!" I held out my hand out to admire my beautiful ring.

"Yeah, and only three weeks before my birthday too." He chuckled.

"It's crazy, you'll be two years older than me!"

"Do you want to help me look for apartments?"

"You're gonna move out?"

"Well I mean...I want to eventually get my life started, and I go to college soon so, yeah I'm moving out"

"Well, just make sure you stay close"

"I will" he whispered kissing my forehead.

"Good"

              An hour later

I was taking a shower when I heard the bathroom door open. "Hey babe?" Jack spoke.

"Hey what?" I giggled as I poked my head out of the shower curtain. "Oh my god" he was wearing nothing but a pair of boxer shorts.

"What? Oh I-that's not what I'm implying at all." He reached for a towel to cover himself.

"No it's fine!"

"Are-are you sure."

"C'mere" I wrapped the towel around my body and put my arms around his neck. "I'm ready when you are." His big blue eyes met mine and saw his same amazing goofy grin spread across his face. He wrapped his bare arms around my waist and picked me up. "What the- this isn't what I meant!"

I felt my body hit the bed and his lips meeting mine all over again. He fell beside me and laughed "I love you"

"I love you too"

The rest of the night we just laid there staring at each other and telling stories about basically anything, we spoke to each other all night causing us not to notice the sun light up his room. "Wow, it's 8:07" Jack said looking at his watch

"Did  we seriously stay up all night?" I chuckled.

"I guess so" he rolled over on his side to face me "I wouldn't rather do it with anyone else though"

"Awe, that's sweet" I kissed him and snuggled closer to him. "I'm tired now" I yawned.

"Good...morning?" He laughed.

"Whatever doofus, I'm going to sleep" I smiled and rested my head on his chest causing me not to wake up for a very long time.

3:05 p.m.

I sat up with my bra strap hanging halfway down my shoulder and no Jack... "Babe?" I yelled

"In here" he yelled from the kitchen. I threw on one of his oversized t-shirts and my way to the dimly lit kitchen.

"Hey!" I jumped at him from across the island.

"Don't you have work today?"

"I'll call in sick or something"

"Good,  because you're gonna be  sick when I'm done with you."

"Ew" I laughed and pushed him.

"Too fifty shades of grey?"

"Yeah, a little less fifty shades and a little more...you"

"Okay then" he grabbed me and dipped me into a kiss like every soap opera ever seen.

"Good enough." I smiled.

"Love you"

"Love you too"
