"Okay...what the fuck was that all about?" Amy said pulling her shirt back over her head

"Remember that time we had to call the cops because someone stabbed my FATHER!"

"Yeah?"

"That would be him" I said throwing the remaining piece of the bottle to the ground

"You okay now Cec? He's gone" Maya said stroking Cecily's hair "you'll be okay"

She was still breathing rapidly after we calmed her down "do you need anything?" Amy looked worriedly at her

"Alcohol, just alcohol" she panted

We started walking to the pier again and let Maya lead the way. When we finally reached the party spot, it had already started "I'm gonna go meet up with Kristen" Maya yelled over the music. I looked around and was immediately caught off guard by Kate

"Hey squirt!" She yelled in my ear

"What the- ? KATE! Stop scaring me like that!" I looked back at her and gave her a sort of warm smile, just to make sure she knew I wasn't mad.

"Beck wants to do the gender reveal when everyone gets here"

"Really?! Why didn't you do it at the shower?"

"Because we wanted it to be a surprise but we just couldn't wait any longer"

"Can I know first?"

"Sure but only Aidy and Leslie know so don't tell ANYONE, it's a..." She drug it out for what seemed like forever "girl"

"REALLY?!" I squealed causing her to hit me and look at me like she was gonna kill me "do you have a name?"

"Eva Lynn Bennett" she nodded at me

I thought I was going to break down and tell everyone but luckily I didn't, I waited until they announced it to everyone else. We all cheered and were super happy to know what the sex of the baby would be, I was sort of hoping it would be a boy considering the other two I babysit are girls but on the bright side, I can dress her up like Holtzmann and tease Kate.

"Baby-busters" I quietly giggled to myself

"Whatcha laughing at?" Amy popped up behind me

"Oh nothing"

"It didn't sound like nothing"

"I was just thinking about when Kate had the baby, I can call her baby holtzy"

"You're stupid"

I smirked and walked over to the punch bowl, mom was in the corner grinding on dad which made me deeply cringe. Kate was surrounded by people freaking out over the fact that a fetus would pop out of her in a few more months.

"Hey short stuff" Leslie said with a bottle of whiskey in hand.

"Who me" I smiled

"You're like what, two inches tall?" We both laughed as she continued "here" she handed me the bottle

"I can't drink les"

"Oh no! Where the police? I gotta hide my stash" she laughed and handed me the bottle

"No really, I can't"

"Just a sip, No one will care. When I met Cecily, we were both underage but we drank together"

"Fine" I grabbed the bottle and took a big gulp, a little too big. It burned all the way down, I started coughing and laughed a little in all the mess

"That'll wear off" she smiled at me and rubbed my back.

For the next hour everyone but Kate, mom, dad, and I spent their time dancing and singing. Maya was completely hammered and decided to rip her clothes off and go skinny dipping, soon enough everyone joined her, Amy, Tina, Kristen, Bill, Keenan, even Aidy! They were all swimming and having a good time. I looked over to the line of the woods and started to panic, he was back.

He flashed one of the creepiest smiles and motioned for me to come his direction, then he moved the corner of his grey coat. My heart sank to my feet as I saw a gun in the side of his belt

"I'm gonna go to the bathroom" I told Kate as I walked towards the edge of the woods, she just nodded and went back to talking to dad

When I reached him he grabbed my arm and pulled me deeper into the woods. I felt the gun pushing into my back as he held my arms behind me making sure I wouldn't get away from him.

We were a few yards into the woods when we stopped, I broke down in tears when I saw Cecily crying with her hands attached behind her to a slim tree

"I'm sorry" I mouthed to her

She was crying the hardest I had ever seen her cry, I couldn't help but feel like it was my fault all over again.
