Sometimes they haven't updated in two years.

You never know.

They are like Beyoncé when she released that surprise album and Adele when she came back after a few years with Hello.

You never know what hole they just climbed out of, what rock they were hiding under, or what deserted island they just got rescued from.

All you know is that despite your previous beliefs this bïtch is alive and kicking.

You take everyone by surprise and it takes forever to revive the previous readers.

Set up reminders to write that story of yours.

Keep it fresh.

Or come back every few weeks and keep dropping bomb shells.

Just keep things interesting.
