"Daddy? How did you and daddy Louis meet?" Isobel took cautious steps towards me and I placed my book down next to me.
She knew we never discussed Louis.
I watched her as she edged closer and closer and I noticed how she looked more like him every day, her crystal blue eyes especially and it made my heart twist in my chest. "Well..." I said and her eyes grew wider. "It was perfect, just like Louis." She smiled and I tapped the sofa next to me, encouraging her to hop up and sit down. She did just that and looked up to me again.
"Can you tell me?"
I licked my lips and scanned the room before looking back down to her.
"It started on a Friday...."
