Kairi, two years later.
"Shhhh. It's okay. Mommies here..."
I whispered gently to one year old Floria. I cuddled her in my arms as she tried to fall asleep. She looks just like her father. Oh, Alex... if only you could have seen your daughter...
It's been two years since that fateful day. When Alex died...
We would have all died then, if the academy hadn't magically showed up and merged with the mountain. But it's in the past... a past I can't seem to forget. I just can't. It's all she can do to remember Alex, other than little Floria. How he held me in his arms...
Floria started to wiggle out of my arms.
I gently kept her in my arms as she stared up at me with shining, hazel eyes. Her brown hair gently covered them.
She smiled and giggled at me.
"I love you Floria. I know he does too."
I giggled along with my daughter.
The world has changed so much in such little time. Most of the clones from the village ran off elsewhere. Everyone has learned about they're existence, as well as the existence of angels, and god, and the fallen angels. It was hard for anyone to accept it at first, but they did, thankfully. There are absolutely no governments anymore, and a lot of people have died. Cities were destroyed and the wilderness outside grew and grew until it took over what used to be many of them.
Most of us chose to remain at the academy, including me and the others held in Castle Oblivion. We banded together and made a new government of sorts. Though, this one focused on emotions rather than other things. Granted the oldest people around are Regi and Corzette, both previous and current teachers. Though, they haven't seemed to have aged at all. Life resumed, and everyone did something to help each other out. We made an entire community inside the mountain and the academy. A place where we could raise families and not be afraid to walk outside. If only Alex was here to see it. Though, the academy still functions and works as the center of our military. Hopefully we won't run into anything like the last war again. Too much bloodshed has scarred this world already. After all, our total population is above nine hundred people, from a total of ten thousand. All of the ones still here are from the Academy. The rest of the students either dead or had left on their own. So many were buried in a graveyard we made just outside the mountain with a statue of the fallen heroes to give them the recognition they deserve.
As for the others...
Kal and his partner, Ann had a son named Kyle. He is one of the highest ranking military officials in charge of our security. Natalie took the lead as one of the main officers of the army and trains all the recruits. She has risen to become the commander in chief... though she has changed a lot since two years ago...
Regi stayed on and became the top doctor and still teaches his trade. While Jace... Jace is locked away in the prison section of the Academy. He's been there for two years... but I cannot say... I wanted him to be locked away. I wanted him dead, but I look past it now. He was Alex's friend, until the very end.
I had Floria in Febuary after many hours of labor. A few months after we buried Alex, and everyone else that had died during the battle. I was still sad up until then. But once I saw Floria, I knew that Alex lived on in her. He died protecting us and is remembered as a hero. I had also taken in Celia, Willis and Celina's daughter. She's like an older sister to Floria. But after she found out about her parents death, it was hard on her. She was very inward to herself. But she always takes the time to be the nicest she can be to everyone. She's a good girl. Going on ten, this summer.
