"So she's the one who's making my son go crazy." tumawa si mama at nakitawa na din sina Hale.
We are eating breakfast at parang nag-iba ang ambiance noong nandito si Juliet. My father looks so calm right now and I know he adores her.
"Oh I see. I've never been there. I hope to see your province kapag may free time kami ng asawa ko. What's your business?"
"Sa mga prutas po. Kami po nagsusupply sa mga dealers."
"Hmm, maganda yan. Any other hobbies hija bukod sa pagtulong sa farm niyo?"
I felt a little awkward. Naiilang akong kami ang pinag-uusapan ni Juliet. It's unusual for me to bring a girl in our house dahil na din
It's been two months and everything is smooth between the two of us. Juliet and I. Hindi pa naman ako nanliligaw but I make sure that she can feel my efforts. Nakilala ko na din ang mga magulang niya and they were so good to me.
And I hate their stares. They judge us through their looks and I despise them a lot. I want to protect her from them. Ganoon ko na ata talaga siya kamahal.
The wound between me and my parents is slowly mending. I accept their business and I'm learning to manage it. And as an exchange I told them that I need my own time with my self and for Juliet and they totally agreed. Juliet pushed me to talked to them. She pushes me a lot. To try something new, to try everything under the sun. She taught me to slowly get rid of my habits. Di na ko nag-iinom at nagyoyosi though minsan natetempt ako. My family adores her because she's slowly changing me.
And I like everything as it is. Not so fast, just slow. Enjoying the things that life could give; slowly.
It's already 12:00 pm. It's already lunchtime and I decided to call her.
"Hey miss." ani ko sa kanya.
Rinig ko ang ngiti sa boses niya. At napangiti na din ako.
"Lunchtime na. Kumain ka na ba? I hope to see you soon Julie. I miss you already."
"Hmm.
"Why? Anong gagawin mo don?"
"May susunduin lang ako sa airport. Yung bestfriend ko."
"Give me the exact time then I'll fetch you."
"Sinong bestfriend ba yan? You never mentioned any names."
"Ah si Pau. Kababata ko. O sige na Creus kakain na kami. Call me later. Bye."
Ibinibaba niya ang telopono. Her voice calmed me after a lot of stress in my work.
I went to the dining area of our company and I saw my parents are waiting for me.
