Flying Freedom (ON HOLD)

Chapter 47

I make my character run punch the air as I run towards a tree. I break that down and punch a few more until I have a sufficient amount. Twi runs past me, stealing the wood off of the ground next to the tree I was working on.

"HEY! That was MINE!!!" I playfully yell, chasing her around with a wooden sword and hitting her with it until she dies. The blue team types 'lol' and funny comments in the chat as Twi respawns.

"Can I have my stuff back?" She asks.

"Nope."

"Why nooooooottt?" She teasingly whines, and I hold back a giggle.

"Cause you stole my wood and now I am keeping everything," I snootily reply, looking for a cave. Twi follows me around and won't get out of my face. For example, I try to mine something - she jumps in front of me repeatedly and then I can't get the ores because it won't they won't break. I groan.

"UGHHHHH fine. Take your stuff back!" I sigh, throwing her items on the ground. She squeals and grabs it as Mitch laughs. Wait, he didn't do it yet. He didn't do it yet... Ooooooohhhhhhhhhhh! I bite my lip and hold back a snicker as Preston suddenly let's out a loud, high-pitched, and very girly-sounding scream. I hear a creeper blow up in the distance and the chat shows that Preston dies. Guess that scream is the reason for me being half deaf right now. We all burst into laughter as Preston pretends to cry and tells us not to make fun of him.

"Awww don't worry dood, I got you," Mitch comforts, and it takes Preston a moment to realize what he means.

"Oh NOOOOO..." He yells, slamming a hand down on the table. I giggle as he begins throwing torches out of his inventory, given to him by Mitch.

"Anyone want some TORCHES?!?" Preston rages as Mitch practically dies laughing in the background.

"Yes, please!" I giggle, grabbing a few stacks off of the ground. Thanking him, I get back to mining. I find a nice vein of coal and manage to get eight pieces. Behind that was a nice vein of six iron. Awesome, now I have enough for a sword and boots. I spend a few minutes digging around, before giving up and beginning to strip-mine. I start by digging straight down and get down to about 16. If I'm lucky, maybe I'll find diamonds! Our teammates ramble in the background as Preston TPs to me because he couldn't find a cave, and together we start mining in opposite directions. In the tunnel I make, there is some gold, a bit of lapis, and redstone. There was also two more veins of iron (so now I have 20) and a bunch more coal. Using my wood, I build a crafting table and make three furnaces. Placing them down, I put in the coal and iron, letting that sit.

"Can I please use your furnaces?" Preston asks, walking over to me. I make my character nod and he adds his iron. He found a bit more than I did, so now we are both set to make armor and pickaxes. I make an iron pickaxe to replace my stone one and continue mining down the tunnel. I reach a little cave, but it doesn't lead anywhere. However, what's inside it is great.

"YEAH BOYYYYSS! Dash just found DIAMONDS!!" Preston excitedly yells, and our team cheers.

"How many?" Twi asks. I mine around the ores and start counting.

"One, two, three, four, five, SIX!" I reply, grinning and taking the diamonds before Preston can get to them. He gives an excited whoop and I turn around to see him mining away at another vein.

"Guess what guys? I just found five more!" He yells as Mitch laughs.

"Awesome! I just found.... TWOOO..." He draws out, making it sound so much better than it actually was.

"Awwww I haven't found ANY yet..." Twi pretends to whine. We laugh and continue mining for resources.
