This time, I use my wings to push myself up. Then I land on the ground. Owwww..... that wings hurts! Dang it, I forgot about that! I reach my hand backward and pull the wing over my arm and in front of me. Looking closely, I straighten some feathers and ruffle them once with my hand. I'm think I'm done. Flexing it a bit, I notice a little ache but otherwise it seems fine - must have been when I jumped flew into the ceiling. Cause, ya know, it can kinda hurt if you do that...
"You okay?" Twi asks. I can tell she's worried because her wings are opened a little and she's right in front of my face. I give her a small push and she falls. Landing on her butt, I can tell she's a bit annoyed but not angry.
"I'd take that as a yes," Flit whispers quietly. We all start laughing as Mitch picks Twi up bridal style before setting her back on her feet. She flaps her wings and giggles when she 'accidently' hits Jerome right on his nose.
"Heeeeeyyyyy!" he says, rubbing it as she just laughs and doesn't apologize. Mitch hugs Jerome before picking up Twi and throwing her over his shoulder as he runs around the yard. At 3 in the morning. Completely normal, right? I mean, cause EVERYONE does that... As we chase him back to the house, I catch up and tag Twi on her arm, since I guess I'm technically 'IT' now. She snickers and taps Mitch on his head. We wink at each other before laughing.
"MITCH IS IT!!!" We yell as Twi wiggles out of Mitch's grasp. We both take off into the air and hover above his head. Everyone immediately changes their direction and run away in entirely different ways. Mitch tries jumping to reach us, but unfortunately is doesn't get him anywhere. No matter how much he can try, he'll never be able to get us - we'll just be hovering an inch above his hand! Too bad for him, but he sure won't win this game unless he goes after someone else! Scrambling across the yard, he tries to catch someone else. Twi lands right in front of him and waits until the last second before moving away. She teleports behind him, so when he skids to a stop and tries to get her she flies back by me on the roof. It'd be pretty hard for him to get up here, and the only way to do so would be to climb out the window and slowly walk up. Luckily, for those of us who have wings, it isn't a problem.
"New rule! No wings or magic allowed - it isn't fair!" Jerome yells from a window. Twi squeals when she is chased as soon as she touches the ground. Swooping down, I grab her hand and pull her along as we both run to the tree.
I quickly scale the trunk and climb high into the branches. Twi follows close behind and together we get to the very top, watching an agitated Mitch rage below. I love making people rage... it brings so many funny memories! At least, funny memories of MINE... Maybe not the person who's upset, but whatever. Flit runs away from Mitch and manages to slam the door shut before he catches her. If he had been any closer, it probably would have hit him right in the face! Hmm... that gives me an idea... I crawl along the branch slowly. As it tips towards the ground, I'm hanging right above Mitch. I'm surprised it hasn't touched his head when it was swinging up and down and that he hasn't noticed or move, but it helps me! I grab a fistful of leaves and flip over so I'm hanging upside down by my legs. Using my hands, I crush the leaves into really small pieces. This position isn't too comfortable, being upside down and all, but luckily I can hold myself here for a while. Once the first handful is crunched up enough, I reach up and grab another, mashing them together. I softly squeal as the branch lowers some more, due to Twi trying to help. It isn't helping, Twi, it's making me go lower, so I'm about to hit his head! Mitch whips around, spotting me as I let go of all of the leaf particles in my hands.
"SURPRISE!!!" I yell, wiping off of my hands. Then, I fall off of the tree branch and land on my butt. Ow? Standing up, I sprint away as I hear the whoops and laughs from everyone who just saw my confetti trick. Twi squeals as the branch suddenly flings back up, throwing her off completely, which then makes her land on the ground. Two people can really change the weight of a branch. It also would've helped if that hadn't been Unicity's fault.
