We rise fast as the figures below us shrink. Soon, you can't see more than roads, and then not even those. The green land looks beautiful from up here! OWWW pressure.... Preston notices my discomfort and rubs my thigh comfortingly. Okay, I didn't even notice him out his hand there, but... I mean, it is kinda comforting. Ish. Twi turns on her mindcom signal, so it blinks until I answer.
'Dash. Look. Behind. You!' She squeals excitedly. I slowly turn around to look and see her and Mitch hugging. Why are they hugging now while we are still going higher into the air? I'm not going to question it. She catches my thoughts and just grins. Yeah, whatever. Preston taps my shoulder and I sit back in my seat normally. The plane finally levels out and now we can get up or do whatever. Reaching into his bag, Preston pulls out his video camera.
"Hey guys! The plane is now level so we can get up and walk around," he commentates as he undoes the seatbelt. Mitch stands up at the same time and they happen to walk into each other. Twi and I hold back snickers as the two boys give each other a confused look.
'I feel like Jerome is having a bit too much fun over there,' Twi grimaces as she motions to Flit sitting on Jerome's lap.
'Yeah, ditto for Flit,' I reply, laughing as a flight attended the comes over to lecture them. I see Lachlan staring over there with a sad look in his eyes (A/N You happy, Christina? xD) Then the flight attendant walks over to him and they talk. She walks away and comes back with food, which he pays for. Lachlan then turns back around and tuned into SpongeBob. What is it with the guys and SPONGEBOB?!? I don't understand it! As he hums along to the theme song (Twi is currently doing the same. What not join them?) he happily munches on the food. Maybe he doesn't care that much - perhaps he was just super hungry. I get onto the show just as the theme song ends. Dang it! I was hoping to sing along! Preston is walking around the plane and showing everyone (the Pack, not random people...) off, so I take the opportunity to close the divider and lounge back in my seat. Hmmm.. actually wait a sec. I grab the airline magazine (that thing that has food, info, fun facts, etc.) and flip to the back where all of the food is. Let's see, there are snack boxes, other meal things, and evens dessert? Wow, that's nice. OH. WAIT, I FOUND IT! I fling the divider open and call over an attendant.
"Can I please have a Caesar salad?" I ask sweetly, grinning at her. Twi gasps and mumbles about how she didn't see it in the magazine before flopping over my seat and asking for the same. The attendant nods and comes back with two salads. Ooh, that looks so good... Twi pays for half (she should, I mean, she is eating one of them) and we both grin at each other stupidly. I do a little happy dance in my seat while holding the container.
"Ummm... Dash....?" Twi smirks, her eyes wide. Huh? What is so important that it interrupts me from my salad? I turn around to see Preston laughing with a camera that is now pointed at my face. I immediately blush and hug the salad to my chest.
"What can I say? I REALLY like salad!!" I protest and shut the divider on him.
"Oh FLIIIIIITTTTT..." Twi waves the salad in the air. Flit shrieks and dashes over to an attendant (the same one we just asked) and asks for one too. The lady laughs and nods while she hands Flit the desired veggies. Flit pays and jumps back into her seat. Unfortunately, she forgot to put on her headphones so SpongeBob blasts through the speakers before she could hurriedly turn it off. I snicker and lounge out in the chair. Opening the tray table, I set that in front of me and grab the blanket they give everyone. It isn't bad, to be honest, and it's better than nothing. I grab my travel pillow and set that behind me (so I'm basically on a bed if you think about it) and put the blanket over myself. I then sit up and pour the salad dressing over the lettuce and other veggies.
'Hey, you want some tomatoes?' I ask Twi through mindcom. No, I didn't get any dressing on them, otherwise Twi would be upset for getting it all over her hand.
