Don't Look Back

The Fire

Sky's POV:

I was standing on set practicing my lines, when an ember hit my nose, something was burning. I dropped my script and followed the smoke. It was coming from Ross's dressing room. Wait, Riker was still in there, or did he get out?

"Riker! Riker, are you in there?" I yelled. 

I heard him yell something back, but I couldn't understand. It didn't matter, I knew he was behind that door. I slammed my shoulder against the door because something was blocking it from opening. 

When I got through the heat waved out of the room,  the ashes stung my eyes. I ran in the room and saw Riker, leaned up against the table where the microwave was, which was up in flames, I had to get him out of here. I ran over to him, he looked like he was about to pass out. I put his flannel shirt over his  nose and mouth and helped him to his feet.

My arm brushed up against something that was extremely hot I grimaced in pain and saw that it was badly burned. 

I got Riker out of the room and a crew member took him from me and yelled, "Clear out!" 

I said, "I have to warn the other cast members!"

The fire was spreading out into the hallway, I got Rani, Calum, and Laura out of their dressing rooms, and towards the exits. I was about to follow them out but I saw Ross sitting on set with his headphones in his ears, asleep. How did he not wake up?

 I started towards him, but the ceiling was ablaze,  I heard creaking from above, things were starting to fall from up above. I shook Ross awake, he jumped up, startled. 

I said, "Run out the exit and don't look back!" 

He didn't question my order and ran out. 

Everyone was out of the building now, I stared to run out, but there were flames blocking the exit. I turned to the other exit, blocked. I had nowhere to go.
