Ross’s POV
I went to meet Alana for our coffee date. She said she had something she needed to tell me. When I walked in I saw her sitting at a table by the window with two coffees. I sat down and said, “Hey, what was it you had to tell me? It sounded really important on the phone.” She said, “I just needed to tell you,” She paused. “that I love you and I’m so excited for camp.” I said, “I love you too, and I’m so psyched for camp.” She wasn’t telling me something. I could see it in her eyes. “That’s it?” I asked. She nodded, “Yup, that’s it.” I said, “Ok.” And we changed the subject and continued with our coffee. Afterwards I drove home and called Sky, I laid on my bed and told her what happened. It was always easy to talk to Sky. I could say anything, and she’d keep it a secret unless I told her she could say something to anyone about it. Also, she would help me with my problems. I know that’s a little girly for me to talk to a girl about my problems, but it made life a little calmer for me. I was never really holding anything in, because I could always just tell her. Sky does the same with me, well, she used to. Something must have happened, because she has changed a little bit. I think it started when I started dating Alana though. I hoped it wasn’t linked. After I told her what Alana said, Sky said, “Do you want me to talk to her? Carissa’s coming over to my house for a sleepover, something happened with her too. She left the surprise party early crying. Riker wants me to make sure she’s okay because she won’t talk to him. I could invite Alana too?” I said, “Yes, please? That’d be great. I need to know what she didn’t want to tell me.” I said, “Ok, I’ll call her now. I’ll call you later to update you. Bye!” I said, “Thanks Sky, you’re the best.”
