You want to spend as much time as you can with them.” She said, “Can’t I just spend time with you?” I stroked her hair, “We’ll be doing a lot of that when this is over.” She said, “Oh, right.” I said, “You love them, you just don’t want to disappear.” She said, “Did you give Riker my real due date?” I said, “Of course not.
