You Will Never Own Me

Ross's POV

The next morning when I woke up Riker was gone. I said, "Sky, where's Riker?" She turned around and said, "They're letting us shower." I nodded and she said, "Ross, look what was in Carter's jacket." She held up a key. I said, "Unlock yourself and give it to me." She said, "We can't just unlock and run. We need to wait until they are all unarmed." I said, "Well, give me the key. I can put it in my pocket, because you don't really have anywhere to hide it." She said, "Gee, thanks." And she tossed me the key. I said, "I'm sorry but, please zip up that jacket, I can't help but look at you when you talk to me." She said, "Ross!" And covered herself. Then she zipped it. It was a leather jacket so it wasn't really helping. Leather jacket, black lingerie, tall black heels. I couldn't help but be in awe. She had an amazing body. Great, now I sounded like a creep. I said, "I promise I will get you out of here." Chase and Tanner opened the door, and they came down and undid the chain on my foot. "You're up." I walked up the steps, they were behind me. Connor and Carter walked past me with Riker. They walked me into the bathroom and locked the door behind me. I turned on the shower and looked through the cabinets. The shower drowned out the noise I was making, I couldn't find anything. Then my hands fell upon something sharp. It was a knife, a small knife, but it was better than nothing. I put it in my pocket and took a shower. Afterwards I got dressed and was walked back downstairs and was locked up again. All of the boys were down here with us. Connor said, "Carter, why does she have your jacket?" Carter said, "You didn't let her clothes back on. It's freezing down here." Connor said, "Don't go soft on me man. Sky give him the jacket back." Sky slid off the jacket and handed it to Carter. Connor looked Sky up and down, "That's better. Chase, take her upstairs to get a shower. Don't try anything funny, the boss is coming back later." Chase said, "Okay." And they walked back upstairs Conner left too. that left us with Tanner and Carter. Tanner hit Carter in the chest, "I thought we were gonna get them out of here before he came back." Carter said, "I'm working on it." Tanner looked at me, "Did Sky find the key?" I nodded, "Wait, are you helping us too?" He said, "Yeah, neither of us want to be here, our brother Chase is insane. He's getting 100,000 dollars to make us do this." Carter said, "I was able to break the lock on the window down the hall, but I gotta figure out how to get them out of the basement because that door is  hard to get open." I said, "I can figure that part out." He said, "You sure?" I nodded and then about ten minutes later, Sky walked in, still in nothing but her bra and panties. I averted my eyes respectfully. Carter said, "I'm sorry Skylar, but I'm gonna have to rechain you." She said, "It's okay."  She sat on the bed and he chained her ankle to the bed post. Then the door opened. It was Sky's dad. He walked down the steps, "Tanner, Carter, you can go now. I'll only be five minutes." They left and Mr. Reed walked around the room. I jumped up to attack him but he quickly drew his gun and held it to Sky's head. He laughed, "You really don't get it, as long as two of you are here, you can't do anything." He turned to Sky, "And you will never leave." She gave him a death stare. Then in one quick move he grabbed Sky's hair and yanked it backwards, she let out a scream, "You try anything and I will kill you and all of your friends. You belong to me." He threw her on the floor. She hit her head, I heard it hit the floor. She didn't get up. He went back up the stairs and shut the door. I said, "Sky! Sky get up! Please!" She didn't move. Riker said, "Calm down Ross, she's just knocked out. She will be okay." I said, "No, I'm getting us out of here now." I pulled the key from my pocket and unlocked my chains. Then I freed Riker and Sky. I pulled a knife from my pocket too and Riker took it from me. I said, "Riker we need to." He said, "I know, but I'm the big brother, I'll take care of it, you get Sky out of here." I picked up Sky and she was woozy. She said, "Don't, I know how to get out of here. My dad used to throw me down here for a couple of days once in a while. She crawled over to the wall under Rikers bed. She moved a grate from the wall and said, "Drop the knife and key on the pillow to act like we broke out." She said, "Now go through here." Riker went first the Sky said, "Ross you next." I said, "No, I need to make sure you get out okay." She said, "But I know how to put the grate back." That made sense, I crawled in the big hole and started to follow Riker. I looked  back Sky put the grate back on but she wasn't inside. I said, "Sky!" She looked through the grate, "I'm sorry, I can't let him hurt you." I said, "No, you get in here right now." She said, "Go. If you want to help me call the police." I said, "Okay, but I swear, I am coming back for you. Don't worry." And me and Riker crawled until we were outside. I said, "Sky's place is the closest, we can get Dylan to call the police." We ran there as fast as we could.

Sky's POV

I put the knife and key under my pillow and rechained my ankle. Then the door opened, Chase walked down, he smirked, then he saw that Riker and Ross were gone. "Where did they go?" I said, "Far away." He stormed up to me and grabbed my cheeks with one hand, "Bitch you tell me where they went." I said, "Go to hell." And he slapped me in the face and walked over to Riker's bed and took the chain and wrapped it around me and the pole behind me, then he locked it. I couldn't move. He said, "I hope it hurts." I said, "What hurts?" He said, "Your favorite thing, fire." He ran upstairs and I heard him yell to everyone, "They're gone. We gotta torch the place, the cops will find fingerprints everywhere." I heard my dad yell, "They're all gone?" Chase said, "Sky's still here, I say we let her burn." My dad said, "Let's go." I heard them run into another room. Probably the garage because Chase and Connor came back down and started pouring gasoline everywhere in the basement. Connor said, "What a waste. It's such a shame you couldn't just cooperate." I said, "Well, lets just hope I burn fast." He said, "No, as long as there's no gasoline on you, you get to suffer longer." I said, "The police are on their way." He pulled a lighter out of his pocket and said, "But won't get here in time, that's for sure." Chase ran up the stairs and Connor lit the gasoline and ran out. The flames rose, and I was frozen in terror. I felt the chains get hot on my bare skin. I leaned my head back. It was getting really hot and hard to breathe. This is it. My story's over. This is the end.

Sky's POV

I heard my name being yelled, I screamed with all that I had left. The door was kicked open and two firemen ran down the steps. One said, "Shes chained to a pole and the bed!" I said, "There's a key for the one on the bed under the pillow." I could barley breathe.

I felt my foot free. Then the other fireman yelled, "Jarvis! Help me kick the pole, the bolts look loose on the bottom." Then I felt the chains fall. I tried to stand but the flames were almost in my face. One of the firemen picked me up and carried me out of the burning building, the other one right behind. My skin felt like it was on fire it was so hot. We burst through the front door. And as I was draped over the fireman's shoulder I looked back at the house I was tortured in as a child, and I smiled when I saw it go down in flames. Then I was sat on the edge of the back of an ambulance. A blanket was draped around me, covering me. And they put something over my nose and mouth that helped me breathe. I looked up, Ross and Riker were standing about forty feet  away.

Riker was talking to a police office and Ross was standing with him. He looked over at me, and he did a double take. Then he ran towards me. I gave him a big hug in my blanket. It was awkward because I was half naked, but all I wanted was someone I loved to hold me.
