Scars Will Form

Ross's POV

I got in my car and started heading to the hospital with Riker. I called Ellington and Rocky, they were out at lunch with Erin and Kelly. "Hey, get down to the hospital you can bring Kelly but tell Erin you need to go, she can't come." Rocky said, "Why not? She's my girlfriend now." I shouted into the phone, "Do it Rocky!" And I hung up. When we got there we ran inside, we found Sky's room. Dylan was sitting there. Sky was sitting up. I stormed in, tears in my eyes but I didn't care, and I said, "Are you dying?" She looked so surprised, "Ross, I," I cut her off, "Yes or no?" She said, "Ross, I," I cut her off again, raising my voice, "Yes or no?" She was crying, "I don't know!" I felt bad now, "What do you mean you don't know?" I said in a quieter  voice. She said, "I don't know. I really can't answer you because I don't know." I said, "Why didn't you tell  me?" She said, "I wanted to be sure first." I ran over to her and hugged her, "Im sorry about everything I said. I didn't mean any of it." She said, "Im sorry I didn't tell you." I squeezed her tighter, "It's okay." Soon everybody else got here, Kelly called Rydel who was with Ryland. We all sat down. I said, "Okay, we are all a family, Lynches, Dylan, Sky, Kelly, and Ell. All of us. And we are here for everyone. If there is a problem, don't try to handle it by yourself, we can all help. Ratliff, I heard you need a place to stay for a little while. Our house is always open." He said, "No, I'm good, I'm staying at Kelly's place." I said, "Ok, Sky, you have six jobs, why?" She said, "You don't get it, you thought for all these years Dylan and I could afford a house? He works in a movie theatre and you thought I was just a waitress." I said, "Where else do you work?" She said, "Ross, it doesn't matter." Dylan listed them off, "Olive Garden, Dunkin Donuts, the frozen yogurt place. She's a model, and she's also a waitress at that burger place that you guys go to all the time, she takes the early shift so you guys never see her there, and I haven't found out her last job." I looked at Dylan, "What do you mean you haven't found out yet?" He said, "All of her uniforms are in her closet, I know she's a model because I was walking down the street and I saw her on a build board and a couple of magazines. And I've followed her to work before. I know she has another job because she has another uniform but there's no tag or label on it. It's just a pink dress but she had an engraved name tag on it." Sky said, "You followed me to work?" He said, "I'm sorry, I just wanted to know where you go all day, you're never home anymore." She said, "Because I've been trying to keep up with the rent. You help, but it just isn't enough, I can handle it, but I don't appreciate you snooping around, but if you are curious about something then just ask." I said, "Tell us about Charlie." She looked at me very scared, "How do you know about Charlie?" I said, "Riker told me." She looked at Riker, he pointed at Dylan. He said, "You say that they're your best friends but you seem to hide your entire past from them." She said, "Because when I talk about it, I live it over again. I don't like remembering it." I said, "We want to help you Sky." She said, "I don't want help, you're acting like I'm some helpless little girl, I am very capable of taking care if myself thank you." Then she looked at Riker, "Can I ask you a question?" He said, "Yeah, go ahead." She said, "Did you hit me with Ross's car? Was it you?" He said, "It was an accident." Everyone was in complete shock. She said, "At least you told me the truth." She looked depressed now.  I said, "The only reason you got hit was because I upset you and all you wanted to do was get away so  you just ran without looking. If its anyone's fault, its mine." She said, "I'm not mad at anyone, I just wanted the truth." She said, "Ross, Riker, Im sorry I ran. I got scared when I saw the nurses clipboard." Riker said, "What do you mean?" Sky said, "I saw Ross's license plate number so I thought he hit me because he was mad. Then he told me it was Riker, so I didn't know if Riker was still mad at me. I really should have told both of you guys what they said, I'm sorry. Riker I'm sorry Carissa cheated on you, that's a terrible thing and you shouldn't have gone without knowing for that long. Ross, I'm sorry she's gone and you never knew. I promise, no more secrets." Riker said, "How do you know Ross's license plate number?" She said, "I've known you guys forever, I guess I've seen it so many times I remembered it, why is that so important out of everything I just said?" Riker said, "Can you tell everyone about the memory thing?" She said, "I guess so. I never lost my memory, I pretended to so the drama between me and Alana would go away for the rest of the trip." Ellington said, "Hmm, that's smart." Kelly said, "Why didn't you tell the rest of us?" She  said, "I accidentally slipped up and told Riker. I didn't want anyone else too." They said everything was okay and they all went home. I stayed with Sky, Dylan was still here too. She said, "So what now?" I said, "They'll probably want you to stay here for a couple of days, then probably you'll have to take it easy." Dylan said, "Ross, do you think Sky could stay at your house for a couple days?" Sky asked, "Why?"  Dylan said, "My friend Connor is staying for a couple of days." Sky instantly said, "Yeah, Ross, so your house?" I said, "Anytime, who's Connor?" Wondering why she reacted like that. She said, "I don't like Connor, at all. He is the biggest jerk ever. Dylan I don't even know how you're friends with him." Dylan said, "He's a funny guy, he's not that bad." Sky said, " Remember that time me and Rydel were sunbathing outside and we were tanning our backs and he cut the straps to our bathing suits so when we stood up they fell off." He said, "It was just a joke." She said, "Or the time you guys dropped water balloons on me from the roof when I was cutting the grass?" He said, "He dared me to." I said, "Yeah, Sky you can stay at our house." She said, "Thank you." So a couple days has gone by, we got to bring Sky home, I had her sleep in my bed instead of the couch because the couch was really uncomfortable. She said, "Why can't I be on the couch in the living room instead of cooped up in here?" I said, "Because it took you ten minutes to get from the car to here, like twenty feet. It's getting late, lets get you to the shower and then to bed." She said, "Okay." I helped her move from my room to the bathroom. She said, "You gonna stand there?" I said, "What?" She said, "I can take a shower by myself." I said, "Oh, right, my bad." I felt embarrassed all of a sudden. I stepped out.

Sky's POV

I undressed and looked at my bandage, finally a still clean one. Every other injury always soaked my bandage in blood, but this time, I let time heal it. I unwrapped it and threw away the bandage. The stitches looked nasty so I didn't look at them. I took a shower, it felt amazing having the cold water run over my wound. When I was done I wrapped myself in a towel and looked around for my clothes. I forgot to grab them, they were in Ross's room the room diagonal to the bathroom. I'd have to slowly walk over there. The reason I was so slow was because my medicine made me really, weak, and tired. I made sure my towel was secure and I opened the door. I heard voices, I made my way over to Ross's room and changed. When I was done I heard a knock at the door. It was Ross, "Are you dressed?" I said, "Yeah." He came in with new bandages in his hands. "I have to put these on." I said, "Okay." And I picked up my shirt, enough so he could wrap the bandages around. He said, "Sorry." Every time I winced, it hurt. I said, "Does it have to be that tight?" He said, "Only if you want to get better." After he was done he fixed my shirt like I needed his help with it. I said, "I could have done that." He said, "To bed." In a funny accent. I laughed and crawled into bed. He said, "I'll be back later, but you need sleep."
