A few days had passed and Michonne had reconnected with Rick, Skylar, and Carl. She had folowed the tracks in the mud and the clues they left behind. It was raining so there was no use traveling from the house they were at. They would just get soaked and then get sick so they decided to just stay inside. Skylar browsed the house and came to a room and she seen the window looking out to the neighborhood. Walking over she sat on the ledge and just looked out the rainy window at what had become the world now. Some walkers roamed a couple streets over but over all it was pretty quite. Skylar sat in silence and her throughts drifted back to the attack on the prison. No one seen it coming, and the governor destroyed the home they built. She wondered if her people made it out. Maggie, Sasha,Bob, Tyreese, Carol, Beth, Daryl, Glenn. What about baby Judith? What if no one made it? What if it was just Rick, Michonne, and Carl until the end. What were the odds of them ever seeing anyone again? Skylar wiped away a few stray tears and sniffled. The door was pushed open and Michonne entered and seen her. She walked over and sat,across from her and Skylar wiped away another tear that trailed down her cheek betraying her tough act she was putting on.

"You okay hun?" Michonne asked.

Skylar pulled her knees to her chest and kept looking out the window.

"I'm fine."

"Miss Daryl I'm assuming."

That's when Skylar looked at her and sighed with sad eyes which mostly gave away her answer. Michonne scooted closer and put a hand on her knee.

"I know it's hard to lose someone you care about. But we could end up seeing our group again. It's not all over we'll be together."

Skylar leaned her chin on her knee and flipped her hair away from her eyes.

"How can you be so sure? For all we know no one made it. What if we were the only ones? What if everyone else is dead?" Skylar asked standing up since she couldn't sit still anymore.

"You can't possibly believe that Sky. We have to have faith. The others made it" she explained.

Skylar put her hair into a ponytail looking at her.

"I hope you're right."

The rain hand finally stopped and Carl and Michonne had went to go look for supplies so Skylar and Rick stayed behind. Rick was reading a book and Skylar was in a room and looking at clothes. She found skinny jeans and a blue studded belt. Smiling she slipped into them and strapped her holster on and sat down relaxing. Skylar wasn't sure how long she had been sitting in silence. But the noise in the living room was what got her attention. At first she thought it might be Carl and Michonne but then she heard voice to many for it to be them. Quickly she ran to the room Rick was in. She shook him and he opened his eyes shocked ready to say something but Skylar put her hand over his mouth.

"Shh someone is in the house. You need to hide and I mean fast" she whispered and then ran out of the room.

Skylar took a deep breath and went into one of the rooms and looked for somewhere to hide. She went to the closet and closed the door silently. She heard feet come pounding up the stairs and she hoped Rick was okay. When she didn't hear signs of a struggle she knew he was okay. Skylar waited and then heard the door to the room she was in be kicked in. She put her hand over her mouth to silence her breathing. Praying he didn't open the closet door that would blow their cover she waited and grabbed her knife just in case. The door didn't open and Skylar sighed softly and just waited for what felt like hours then she heard feet go down the stairs. Skylar poked her head out and seen Rick hiding under one of the beds. She looked around and motioned for him to come out and he did quickly and they stood up. They needed to get out of here and fast before Carl and Michonne came back. Rick and Skylar walked slowly to the bathroom door and closed it. They stopped short when a man was in the toilet. He went to go yell but Skylar stopped him and he got to his feet. Skylar triee her best to stay silent and suddenly a belt wrapped around his neck and Skylar held him still until she seen the life leave his eyes. Rick grabbed her and they left out window as he pulled her they ran from the house meeting up with Carl and Michonne just in time. And they all headed in the other direction. Far away from that house.
