Lindsay's POV.

I woke up to my blue comforter stuffed in my face. I flattened it out, so I could see my bright walls hoping to wake me up a bit. I climbed out of bed, stretching my back out. After all the pops and cracks have been over with, I head to my bathroom across the hall. I notice mom is up. Dad is probably at work and Max is most likely in the basement.

I take the opportunity to take a nice relaxing shower. The hot waters seethes into my skin. I already feel particles of me dancing around. I scrub my face clean from last nights makeup, just incase I forgot to wash something off.

Applying my strawberry scented shampoo to my hair, I start to hum a soft melody to the water. It's not really from an actual song. I usually get most not my ideas and inspiration from the shower. I have time to think.

I begin to wash my body, hoping to wash the stench from the alcohol and smoke from the club. Just as I'm drying my body off with my towel behind the shower curtain, I stop abruptly.

I'm dating Zayn Malik. Ha.

I was almost positive that it was already out to the public. Sure enough people had to get pictures of us holding hands and such.

I wrapped a robe around my body and started to comb through my hair, when someone knocked on the door. I called them in, plugging in my hair dryer first.

"Sweetie?"

I looked in the mirror and saw my mother walk in. I smiled at her and turned around,"Yeah, mom?"

She closed the door behind her and sat down on the toilet seat,"You came home pretty late."

I sighed and leaned against the wall,"Sorry. I went to the after party. I should have called. Did I tell you I'm dating Zayn Malik?"

She crossed her arms and stood up to me,"That's why I want to talk to you. You didn't do anything with him, did you...?"

I placed my hands over my mouth, shaking my head rapidly in the process,"Gosh mom, no! I promised you and dad! Not until marriage!"

She closed her eye and nodded her head. She turned to leave the bathroom, and I couldn't help but think that she didn't believe me. Why wouldn't she?

I grabbed onto her shoulder before she had the chance to escape,"You do believe me, right?"

She spun on me, I could see her shoulders tense up,"I don't know, honey. This is a whole new side of you. I think Zayn is a bad influence on you."

No doubt about that. He smokes, he was very intoxicated last night, but I had to keep this role up as playing his girlfriend. Even though we hated each other, if I exposed the secret I would be fired.

"Okay, he does bad things but he's honestly changing I promise. Just, can you trust me on this? That I will bet able to take care of myself?" I tapped the sides of my sink, hoping for the best.

She sighed in defeat, and I showed a little smile before she could see,"Okay, I trust you. But will you keep our promise?"

I nodded and pulled her into a hug. Wrapping my arms around her, I felt her begin to rub my back.

"I love you." I whispered.

She returned back with,"I love you too."

Zayn's POV.

I had been staring at my ceiling all night thinking of Lindsay. She was so pure and so honest with her parents. I couldn't help but smile at that. There was no way in hell I could be that innocent.

A soft knock brought me back to my actual thoughts and I opened the door. Louis stood before me, dressed in a white shirt and jeans. He looked like he was ready to go out.

"Hey, we're going to an amusement park today. As in us, I mean all five of us. We're leaving in an hour." I nodded my head. I was about to shut the door when his foot stopped me.

I opened the door back up, just wanting to get showered and dressed,"What?"

"You should invite Lindsay." His eyes looked hopeful and I smirked. She was my girlfriend.

"Yeah, sure. I'll give her the invite." I smiled at him and locked my door before he could say anything else. I walked over to my phone on the nightstand, scrolling through my contacts. When I landed on her number, I clicked it and pressed it to my ear.

After two rings she answered,"Hello?"

I ran my fingers through my hair before speaking,"Hey, it's Zayn. Be ready and dressed in 30 minutes. We're going to an amusement park."

I heard some noise in the background but I focused my hearing on her voice,"Yeah, okay. Sounds like fun. The boys coming?"

"Yep." I just wanted to get off of the phone. I needed some time to get ready.

"Great, I really like talking to Liam." We said our goodbyes and I made my way towards the shower.

I couldn't help but think some negative thoughts. Did she like Liam like that? No, she couldn't. She had to pretend to like me and no one else could know about it. Surely she wouldn't risk her contract. Lindsay was smarter than that.

I pushed the thought away as I started my bath. That didn't matter. I just had to figure out some ways for us to look presentable to the outside world.
