Chapter 38 New Years

Okay so I was gonna do this really long chapter, but then I had family problems and I didn't have that much written. Sorry this chapter might suck BUT PLEASE READ THE END.

Maya
"But I still don't understand why I have to attend this party if you're hosting it."
I complained to Riley as I unwrapped more streamers for midnight.
"Because Maya, you live here too so we're co-hosting! And who wants to ring in New Year alone?!"
I rolled my eyes and tested out another noisemaker. It made a loud screeching sound making me jump.
"This one definitely works! Even if I'm willing to go to this party, why the crap are you inviting Charlie?!"
"Everyone deserves a second chance."
Riley mumbled quietly fixing her flowers in a vase.
"Charlie got you those flowers didn't he?"
She smiled and shrugged. I got up from my seat and grabbed my coat.
"Where are you going?"
"Your desperate need for a boyfriend was suffocating me so I'll be back by the party."

The kitchen and living room were filled with people that I have never seen in my life.
"Hey Maya!"
Farkle yelled over the loud music.
"Hey, where's Lucas?"
Farkle shrugged and took another sip of punch.
"Charlie spiked the punch."
Farkle spit it onto the floor, leaving a blotchy red stain on the carpet.
"Farkle! We are the ones who have to clean this place after everyone leaves!"
"Sorry I-"
"You guys!"
Lucas bolted over to us. His face was beet red and he's sweating really hard.
"What's wrong with you?"
I asked not that curious. Lucas freaks out over the littlest things.
"Lana's having her baby...on the roof, like right now!"
I looked over at Charlie who was in a deep make out session with Riley.
"I suggest we don't bother the father. Come let's go!"
The three of us ran out of the apartment and up to the roof. Lana laid against the wall panting heavily.
"Anyone know how to deliver a baby?"
Lucas asked looking between us. Farkle slowly raised his hand. Lucas and I looked at him questionably.
"What? I'm a genius. How hard can it be to deliver a baby?"
"SOMEONE DO IT NOW BEFORE I JUMP OFF THIS ROOF!"
Lana screamed in pain. I pushed Farkle towards her and he hesitated.
"I think you two should leave."
I followed Lucas back to the stairs. We listened through the door.
"I can't imagine how much that will hurt."
I mumbled with my ear pressed against the door. Lana was screaming her head off.
"Me either."
I looked at Lucas suspiciously.
"Oh I mean it's not like I get to experience that joy, but-"
"Shut up."
"Okay."
I heard footsteps from down below and looked to my right. Riley and Charlie were climbing up the stairs hand in hand.
"Yo Gardner, your girlfriend's in labor."
I remarked with an eye roll. Before he could respond we heard a small cry and all ran onto the roof. Lana held a little baby wrapped in Farkle's sweatshirt.
"It's a girl! And I wanna name her Maya Riley West."
(A/N: I don't think I gave her a last name so it's West😂)
I looked at Riley and she smiled from ear to ear.
"I love it."
I practically whispered.
"Hey 5 seconds till midnight!"
Charlie called looking up from his phone.
"5....4...3...2...1!!! Happy New Year!"
Everyone yelled.
"Lucas is in love with Riley!"
Farkle yelled and everyone froze. Charlie sent daggers at Lucas while he just stood there and Riley bolted down the stairs. I took my streamer and blew it.
"Happy New Year!"

OMG IM SO SORRY THAT CHAPTER SUCKED. So how's everyone's New Years going? Mines well kinda suckish. 2 family members have left for parties and 2 other family members are asleep. So I'm chilling on the couch with my mom. I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A LOVELY 2016! AND A H.U.G.E ANNOUNCEMENT IS COMING SOON!!!!!
