Maya
"And you three are gonna stay grounded until that carpet gets fixed!"
Topanga yelled as Riley, Farkle and I bolted to our rooms. You do not wanna be around Topanga when she's mad.
"Thanks a lot Farkle."
I snapped sitting at the bay window.
"This isn't my fault! If Lucas hadn't kept his feelings inside, we would've remembered to clean the carpet."
I rolled my eyes and looked to Riley.
"Riley, you haven't spoken a word since last night. It's finally quiet around here, but what's wrong?"
She sighed and turned her head away.
"I-I think I'm in love with Lucas too, a-and I don't know how to tell Charlie."
A silence started to linger in the room.
"Here's an idea, tell him to go die in a hole."
Riley sent a death glare at me.
"You know you were best friends with him once too."
I rolled my eyes. How I regret that decision of my life.
"What happened?"
Riley and I looked up surprised at Farkle. He never seemed interested in our past and we never seemed interested in telling him.
"What?"
Riley asked, clearly stalling.
"What happened happened between Charlie and you guys?"'
I stood up and headed for the door.
"I am not having this conversation."
I said walking towards the door, but Farkle stopped me.
"What conversation does the great Maya Hart not want to have?"
Lucas asked climbing in through the window.
"Maya doesn't want to talk about our break up because it was her fault."
"What?! No it was your fault!"
I yelled sitting back at the window. Farkle sat down to my left.
"Maya, you told me that you didn't want me at your moms funeral because I would bring more unneeded stress. And then at school the next day you screamed at me because I didn't come. I was so confused and then Lana moved here and you two ganged up on me."
By now Riley had tears in her eyes.
"That was low Maya, really low."
Lucas mumbled. My fists tensed up, but Farkle put his hand on my shoulder.
"Riley, I never told you that. You told me that all my petty drama was dragging you down and that a loser like me doesn't deserve a friend like you."
I paused for a moment and took a shaky breath.
"Y-you said that you didn't care that my mom died."
Riley shook her head furiously.
"You were my best friend! Why would I ever say something so awful?"Farkle
I looked between Riley and Maya who were soaked with tears. Lucas looked at me with a raised eyebrow, just as lost as I am.
"Wait." I quieted the crying.
"If neither of you claim to have said those things, then how did the other one hear it?"
Riley and Maya both looked at each other shocked.
"Charlie told us."Yeah I know BIG SHOCKER! Anyway please read this. So if you didn't notice this chapter is a tad on the short side, but I as you can see I couldn't really add onto this chapter. But if you read the authors note above you'll know that there are like 3/4ish more chapters. So the last few chapters are most likely gonna be long. This is kinda like the first crack of ice here and then next weekend we'll be in freezing water.
