I held this small girl in my arms and stroke her hair while she cried. I cried too, and even the boys teared up.
Zayn looked at us with tears in his eyes and Liam and Louis sat on the floor, wiping tears away from their cheeks.
Quietly I began to sing in her ear until she stopped crying. She looked up at me with red eyes and suddenly she was the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my life. When she smiled, my heart skipped a beat, I swear.
But she didn't smile now, she just looked at me with those beautiful eyes and she blushed.
Julie. What a beautiful name. I just sat there and looked her in the eyes. Felt like I could look into them forever. Was this how love felt?
