Chapter 42

Third Person's P.O.V. 

"Game start" Andrea's voice told them as they went to their respective places looking for preys. Ethan walked slowly, he can feel his pistol at his pocket waiting to be cocked. 

"Hyung" Ethan looked where the voice is coming from and saw Philip resting at the tree

"What are you doing there?" Philip jumped from the tree and approached Ethan 

"If you make Jenny cry, I'll forget you really are" He glared at Ethan but Ethan remained calm

"Leave, before Dem will notice that you left your position" Philip immediately left the place and went to his position.

"He shouldn't be so obvious." Ethan continued walking until he reached a place where footprints were clearly seen in the mud. 

"I didn't expect that I will meet you this soon" Ethan looked behind and saw a familiar cat, the same cat who was with Jenny in the park. 

"I know you are in the bushes. Come out" He ordered. A man appeared just like he wished, the cat immediately jumped into his arms. 

"Let's make this quick. I know Ace knew nothing anyway" He smiled and fired his rifle but Ethan was quick enough to cover behind the trees

"Are you leaving?" The man as he continued firing his rifle. For the first time, they have the wrong information.

"Are you wondering why my weapons changed?" He laughed 

"Do I look like I give a fuck?" 

"You sound scared, Ace. Wondering what will happen to your mates? You should---" Ethan cut him off as he fired his pistol. His pistol might be weaker than his rifle but as long you are good enough to use it right then rifle would be like a small play to him.  Ethan ran for his life and knowing that the man will follow him behind because those kind won't leave his victim away. 

"Stop running" Ethan smirked knowing that he had fallen to his trap. The man continued to fire his rifle at random directions. Once he heard him reloading his gun then it would be his cue to attack once again. When it was silent, Ethan went out and fired his gun but Ethan thought that he can feel pain in his stomach when he saw the wound then he was positive that he was shot but that is not the problem right now

"Do you think I'm crazy?" The man smiled. 

Ethan jumped at him and punched him right infront of his face. The man threw a punch but Ethan ducked easily and took his knee out with his foot.  The man stared at Ethan with pure rage, they keep dodging each other's attack until Ethan decided to finish off when the man punched Ethan's chin, drawing his arm back. Ethan drove his fist to the man's face leaving him on his knees. The man reached his nose and tried to stop the bleeding but Ethan was not kind enough to leave him a place to rest. He kicked him right in his chin as he went down and eyes locking on the skies.
