I looked around for my strawberry blonde girlfriend, I was so confused, I just saw her a little over an hour ago where the hell did she go?

I looked in our tent, no. I look at the butterfly field where her and Octavia hangout, nope. I looked at the tree where she went she was upset, nada. Finally I asked Monty and Jasper, they said they say she run into the Drop ship crying, My strong as hell girlfriend Arden Smith crying? They must be seeing things because my girlfriend doesn't cry. Still, I walked to the drop ship where I heard whimpers.

Walked in throwing the curtain aside, in a corner I saw Arden huddled up with her head in her knees, sobs coming from her. Never in a life time did I think my girlfriend would be caught crying, she was strong willed and stubborn, she was witty and protective, sassy and someone who took charge when it was needed, she always helped out and never turned down an adventure.

"Babe?" I whispered softly, I heard her choke back a sob, I slowly eased down beside her placing my hand on her arm, she just started to cry even more, I wrapped my arms around her rubbing up and down her back. "Shh baby it's alright, I got you, you're okay, I got you." I whispered into her ear.

After awhile her cried finally subsided and I took her hands between my hands, "What's wrong?" I asked her, she shook her head. "Arden tell me." I stated, I wasn't playing nice, I needed to know who or what hurt her so I could deal with it.

Her usual brown eyes were now a dark green from crying, her tall legs were pressed against her chest, she was thin before and had lost even more weight since we have been down on earth, she had such sharp facial futures it was stunning. But what broke my heart was the fact that she wasn't smiling, Arden had such a beautiful smile it hurt that she looked so... upset.

"I miss my family so much," she cried into my shoulder, I squeezed her closer to me letting my lips brush against her neck, "I know baby girl, I know you do." I whispered.

"But they're in a better place, they aren't suffering up on the Ark anymore I promise." I added, "And they'd be so proud that you have made it so far, you got to see earth, this was their dream and you're living it for them okay? Just remember that, they're so proud of you." I pulled away from her so I could wipe the stay tears off her cheeks, she cracked a small smile making me smile as well.

"There's my sunshine," I whispered placing my lips to hers softly earning a kiss back.
