Emmie tugged her jacket closer to her body. She zipped it up and continued on her trek to meet Clarke so the blonde could check up on a wound she got while the Dropship was landing.

She walked quickly, her long black hair moving side to side as she walked. As she walked, paying no mind to the people around her, she ran into someone so hard she fell back on her butt.

"Shit sorry." The deep familiar voice of Bellamy Blake said, Emmie looked up shocked. Her icy blue eyes locking with Bellamy's brown ones. He reached down and helped her up, apologizing again. "I-It's okay, I wasn't paying attention." She said softly.

"Hey, how come I've never seen you before?" Bellamy asked, admiring the looks of the short black haired girl. "I-I don't really talk to anyone. I'm kind of shy." Emmie stuttered out.

"Hey, no wait I know you. You're Mark Clines little sister." Bellamy said, Emmie looked up to him with wide eyes and playing with the sleeves of her older brothers jacket. "Yeah I am." She whispered. "So you really aren't a criminal, they locked you up for nothing." Emmie nodded.

"Yeah, when I was fifteen. I couldn't fit in the wall any longer." Bellamy gave her a sad smile. "Well, where are you heading to in such a rush?" He asked. "I have to go see Clarke so she can check up on this cut I got during landing." Bellamy nodded. "Let me walk you."

For months now Bellamy has been working with Emmie everyday, teaching her to shoot, and teaching her to survive off the land and how to fight and defend herself.

"Hey Bell." Emmie said walking up to Bellamy in a place they had claimed as their spot. It was far enough away from the camp, and a few minutes away from a stream where they would sometimes clean up after intestinal training sessions.

Today was different though. Today was the day Bellamy planned on telling Emmie of his feeling for her. "Hey Em." Bellamy said with a smile. He wrapped her in a hug, holding her for longer than normal.

"Whats up Bell?" She asked, letting go of Bellamy and looking up to him. "I don't really know how to tell you this." Bellamy said with a sigh, her eyebrows frowned together.

"What is it Bellamy? You can tell me anything." She said sweetly. Bellamy smiled down at her, pushing stray buts if black hair behind her ear away from her face.

"I like you, Emmie. More than just a friend. I don't want anyone else to have you." Emmie gave him a large smile.

"I like you too Bellamy." She breathed. Bellamy smiled and wrapped her in a hug. "Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked.

"Of course." She breathed, and for the first time since her family was floated, the small broken teenage girl, felt loved and accepted.
