"Honestly Kate, can't you do anything right?" Murphy growled, running his fingers through his long hair. "Do you honestly have to be a jerk all the goddamn time Murphy?" She snapped back.
Murphy sighed, "I need a few minutes." He said, and walking out of the tent. She slowly sat down on the side of the cot, her long burgundy hair falling over her face.
Kate and her boyfriend John Murphy had never fought, they never had a reason to. But now, all their pent up anger finally exploded, and they both snapped on each other.
Things were said, and tears were shed, but thank god Murphy left before things started to be thrown. Wiping away a tear off her cheek, she stood up off the cot and walked out of the back of the tent.
Looking around to make sure no one was around she walked out of the camp she needed to get some air, she needed to get away from the prying people around her. Holding onto the bow she made herself and her few arrows, she made sure her knife was on her too.
She walked deeper and deeper into the forest, walking further and further away from the camp. She loved going for walks with Murphy, they would hold hands and walk through the trees, and would always end up at the same spot, their spot. A small cave just off the side of a river, with vines covering the entrance so no one could find them, it was their safe haven.
As she walked she payed no mind to her surroundings, that was her first mistake.

"I haven't seen her since you guys went into your tent earlier." Clarke told Murphy. "Are you sure?" He pushed. Clarke sighed, "Murphy I'm sorry, but I haven't seen her, if I have I would tell you." Murphy nodded before turning away from her and looking around.
He was looking for one person, the one person that could help him in this time of need. Someone who could hunt and track, someone who would help him find Kate. Bellamy Blake.
"Bellamy, Bellamy I need your help." Murphy said, his eyes landing on the older man. "What is it?" Bellamy asked noticing Murphy's worried expression. "I can't find Kate, she's gone." Bellamy nodded, "Lets go." He said, grabbing the boys shoulder and leading him out of the camp.
The two walked for what seemed like years, when they came across a heap on the ground, a small heap with a mess of burgundy hair. Murphy dropped his weapons and rushed to his girlfriend, taking her in his arms. "Kate, Kate wake up." He whispered. Her eyes fluttered her hazel eyes looking scared and tired.
"What happened kitten?" He asked her, brushed her matted hair off her bloody face. "T-The grounders." She whispered, her voice raspy and throat dry. "They s-said it was a message." She groaned.
She held her arm to her chest, blood seeping through her fingers, a large cut digging deeply into her skin. "Can you stand?" He asked, she shook her head. "My ankle, I think I twisted it." She informed them.
Bellamy walked up to the couple and Murphy nodded. Bellamy helped Murphy lift her into his arms, and walked behind them looking around to make sure the path was clear.
"I'm so sorry kitten, I didn't mean any of it, I love you so much." Murphy breathed, kissing her forehead.
"I love you too, John." She breathed.
