As I try to mend the shirt in my hands, the pin sticks into the tip of my finger and I hiss, "Ouch. Damnit." I mutter, putting my finger in my mouth and sucking the blood away.

"Got yourself?" Carol asks and I nod my head, "Yeah."

There has been some tension within the camp. Around two hours ago, Ed attacked Carol in front of Amy, Andrea and Jacqui. Shane caught him and proceeded to beat him to a pulp, barely stopping himself before killing him. Everyone was shocked by Shane's outburst, but not me. I think Ed deserved everything that he got and more. Ever since everything that happened with Dean all those years ago, my stances on violence had changed. Knowing what Ed has been doing to Carol, I wish that someone had stopped him sooner.

The guys have been gone for around three hours and I have been worried the whole time. I glance over a Lori, who's lips are pursed as she sows up the clothing in her hand. She is in the same boat as me, both us waiting for our men to come home. Difference is she actually gets to be with the man. I push away the bitter thought when I hear a commotion.

I look up and see Amy and Andrea walking forward with a pelt of fish in their hands and big smile covers my face, "Well done girls!" I cheer as Lori applauds them.

"Hey check it out!" Morales calls out, letting out a delighted laugh as Andrea hands him a pelt, "Ladies, because of you, my children will eat tonight. Thank you." He says gratefully.

"Thank Dale, it's his canoeing gear." She says, as her and Amy have a drink of water and Amy does a happy dance, causing me to laugh.

"Mom look, look at all the fish!" Carl cries out excitedly.

Morales pushes it towards her and she shies away, "Yeah, thank you." She chuckles.

"Woah!" Carl says, reaching forward to touch it.

"Yeah woah. Where did you two learn to do that?" Lori asks, looking over at the girls.

"Our dad." Amy says with a smile.

"Can you teach me how to do that?" Carl asks, looking at the girls eagerly.

"Sure, I can teach you all about nail knots and stuff. If that's okay?" She asks, turning to Lori.

"Oh you won't catch me arguing." Lori states.

"Hey Dale," Andrea calls out as the older man comes into view, "When was the last time you oiled those reels, they were a disgrace!" She teases him.

I notice that he has a serious look on his face and my eyebrows scrunch together, "What's wrong?" I ask.

"I ah, I don't wanna alarm anyone. But, we may have a bit of a problem." He says, turning and pointing up the hill.

I glance up and see a figure on the hill, digging away. I squint my eyes for a closer look and see that it's Jim and I wonder what he is doing. We all begin to make our way up towards Jim to see what's going on. Shane and Dale lead the way and soon we enter the small clearing where Jim digs. There are a lot of holes dug out, long and not too wide. He continues to dig as he ignores our presence.

"Hey Jim?" Shane asks after a moment, "Why don't you hold up alright? Just give us a second here." Shane says.

Jim stops digging and sighs frustratedly, looking up at us all, "What do you want?"

"I'm just a little concerned man, that's all." Shane says.

Morales takes a step forward, "Dale says you've been out here for hours."

"So?" Jim asks, looking at the older man.

"So why're you digging?" Shane asks, tilting his head to the side, "What, you heading to China Jim?" He asks, chuckling to himself.
