Chapter 35

(No One's POV)

"Gwen!" a beautiful voice called her from behind. She turn around and saw a petite brunette running towards her. Gwen smiled, a bit.

"Hey" Maricris greeted, softly. "Is Ella...here" Maricris breathes in and out nervously. Gwen shook her head and continue walking. Maricris followed her. "I, uh... I was wondering. Can I ask you something?" Gwen look at her.

"What other things she may like?" They stopped and sit down on a bench. "Act sweet. Yun nga ang gusto nya." Gwen answered.

"Nagawa ko na. Binibigyan ko sya ng latte and chocolates" Maricris frowned. "Act sweet hindi give sweets. Gusto mo yatang magkaroon ng dyabetis ang pinsan ko eh." sagot ni Gwen at tumawa ng mahina.

"Eehh, yun lang ang alam kong gawin. Bago lang ako sa ganitong sitwasyon. Ginagaya ko lang ang mga suitors ko dati, they gave me chocolates so I give Ella chocolates. They don't act sweet to me, so I-"

"So kaya hindi ka nag aact sweet kay Ella?" putol ni Gwen sa sasabihin ni Maricris.

"No! I was trying. What I mean is I don't know how to act, like a real one." Maricris admitted, which makes Gwen laugh.

"Talaga lang ah! Hahaha. Nakakatawa ka. Yung pagiging concern mo sa kanya, or pagiging close. Basta ganon ang sweet. Friends" Gwen said.

"It's just, ang hirap. I never felt like this before. I knew from the first place I like guys and now, I like Ella."buntong hininga ni Maricris.

"So, kasalanan pala ng kagandahan ni Ella. Hahaha! Anong nagustuhan mo sa pinsan ko?" Gwen asked chuckling.

"I don't know. Nakita ko lang sya then everything changed. Her adorable laugh, her mesmerizing eyes, and her lump l-"

"Panini!" Somebody shouted. Maricris widen her eyes realizing the familiar voice. Her body started to tremble.

"Ella" Maricris mumbled. They both turn around and look at the lady walking. "Hi guys!" Ella greeted. Gwen hold Maricris wrist to stay.

"Dito ka lang" Gwen whispered while gritting her teeth.

"Anong ginagawa nyo?" tanong ni Ella. Gwen shook her head and smiles.

"Okay. Punta lang ako don sandali." Ella says. Confused namang tumingin sya kay Maricris na hindi makadiretso ng tingin sa kanya.

She left the two. On the other hand, Vien is watching her girlfriend talking to her sister. She didn't felt jealous but a spark between Ella and Maricris eyes. She then felt a little frown seeing her sister holding Gwen's hand.

Back to Gwen and Maricris. "Bakit ka tatayo kanina? Iisipin ni Ella iniiwasan mo sya" Sabi ni Gwen matapos makaalis si Ella. Nag frown face si Maricris at nag pout.

"She's not straight right?"biglang tanong ni Maricris.

"Ewan. Hindi ko alam." sagot ni Gwen at nag kibit balikat.

(School bell rings)

"I think we need to get to class" Maricris stated and they both walk separated.

(Gwen)

"Ms. Gwen, pinapatawag po kayo ni Ms. Angela" bungad agad sa akin ng isang cute na HRS.

"Okay, salamat. Saan ba sya?" tanong ko. Tinuro nya yung isang opis at naglakad na sya palayo. Nasaan na naman kaya si Ella? Nawawala na naman, alam ko nadito na yun because of her project. Na sya lang ang gagawa. Saan naman kaya yun nag pupunta? Hindi kaya, kasama nya si Maricris?
