Chapter Eleven

No one was home so I brought my work downstairs and put on the T.V whilst I finished up the last assignments that I had neglected this weekend. Twenty minutes in I got the text from Rio confirming he was home. I smiled and replied saying thank you for dinner and he said he would see me at school the following day. I started to feel anxious as I thought of seeing Lacey and her sidekicks the next day. My stomach churned at the thought of it and my heart rate quickened. I text Carina and Kayla to ask what they thought and got two very different responses.

Worried about what?? that tramp got what she deserved and know she knows not to mess with us. I hope her face is all bruised and purple so I can comment on it. she wont do nothing she will feel to shame. but what if she does though?? I will just cuss her one time and let her know about her hairy toes mate she don't wanna bring it. you think she will? her mouth is probably to swollen for her to speak carina gave it to her proper. I swear I rate that girl she's my idol how you gonna just beat someone up in a rave and walk out calmly. love it. did you watch east enders? phils on a mad ting. all dashing spanners around the archers like shit don't cost money. my mum says im not grounded no more and I introduced her to chris she was so embarrassing wanted to die he took me nandos yesterday I ate mine and his it was the bangers. lacey cant say shit she's a hippo don't worry bout her. big boss signing out...K

Doubt she will say anything if she is in that is. wouldn't be surprised if she takes the day off. still cant believe I had a fight. Im not normally like that. fingers crossed it all goes well. how are things with you? I did the maths equations but I don't get the last bit so will have to look at yours. X

I was still laughing at Kayla's comment when dad walked through the door followed by Kieran and Sean all carrying loads of bags. Yessss I missed the big weekly shop. Sean kissed his teeth as soon as he saw me.

"See what I mean dad she's just jamming on the phone when I’m all carrying bags and following you man around Sainsbury's like a side man. Next week I’m going out man." My dad winked at me on his way to the kitchen before cussing Sean. I finished off my work and took everything back up before putting my school uniform out for the morning and then went back downstairs to say good night. It wasn't even 9pm yet but I was too far gone to care. Running my bath I heard my phone ring and had to run to get to it. The caller ID flashed up Reece. Oh no, I groaned inwardly before answering the phone.

"Hi Re."

"What’s up big head, why you take so long to answer the phone?"

"Nothing much, sorry I was in the bathroom. How’s uni?"

"Live, today I went to a foam party. Listen I’m not calling cos I miss you I’m calling cos I heard some disturbing news that I feel needs to be addressed immediately you get me." Oh man I hate it when the twins use big words and act like this. It doesn't sound right with their ghetto thuggish rough voices. Why not just say I heard you had a boyfriend for god sake. I sighed and he laughed in response. "Who is Rio fam?" There we go, back to the rugged straight to the point Reece I came to know and love.

"My boyfriend" I whispered in a small voice feeling my face go red even though he couldn't see me.

"Mmm mm" he said in response like he was agreeing with me or thinking about my answer. What was that supposed to mean? "Dead that Shy you can’t have a man till you’re married. If I find out little man has tried anything his face is gone no joke. Don’t make me go prison for you please that's all long." Why was my family like this? It didn’t even make sense. I shook my head in exasperation

"Reece..."

"I don't care Shy I wanna meet him and if I don't like him he dies end of. How’s school though?" Wait what??? How can he just change convo like this? The twins made your head hurt man. And this was only one of them. Imagine my convos with the two of them together. The worst part was he genuinely thought the conversation about Rio was over. I sighed and told him it was ok and he grunted in response. "Kl, bye Shy see you in a bit." Wow. I sat listening to the dial tone for a few seconds before running back to check on my bath. I honestly don't know how I dealt with this family. When I returned from the bath I had a message from Troy. Oh great more abuse.
