Martina's POV
"Are you ready?" I screamed out to Brian, we were running late, but what was new.
"I'm coming, god." He muttered, walking out and pulling on a shirt.
"Well we're late." I told him, grabbing my purse.
"Marty, we're going to Matt and Lana's, it's not like we'll lose our table if we're ten minutes late." He said, grabbing the keys.
I ignored him and headed out to the car. So what, I was excited, we were going to see Matt and Lana's new house and maybe Brian didn't find it exciting but I did.
We got in, Brian driving and as soon as we started the drive Brian started with his shit again.
"So Marty." He said, reaching over and squeezing my leg. "Did you think about what I mentioned?"
Oh here we go!
"And how will this work with your upcoming tour Brian?" I asked, because I'd sure like to know.
"You'd come Marty." He said glancing at me. "It wouldn't make any difference."
"It would make a difference to me." I snapped, looking out the window. "Because it would be my body carrying this baby that you suddenly decided you wanted."
Two days ago Brian had suddenly announced he wanted to try for a baby. I was shocked, shocked because he'd always told me he didn't really want kids and it was something we'd agreed on, yet here we were having another conversation about babies.
"Marty, you know I'd be there for you." He said smiling and I wanted to slap that smile off of his face.
It was easy for him to say he'd be there, but with the band touring and what not I could see me spending a lot of time by myself.
I just grunted at him. I could not reply.
"I'd take you and the baby with me everywhere Marty." He assured me and thank god we'd arrived at Lana's and Matt's because it meant I could change the subject.
"Oh my god." I said as Brian pulled into their drive. "This is beautiful."
"It is a bit fancy." Brian said as he punched a code into the gate so we could get in.
"Fancy, ha." I said looking around. "I wouldn't mind a house around here, this is a very nice area."
"Yeah." He said parking. "It's a bit pricey babe."
"Well." I snapped, opening my door and getting out. "If you want me to bare your children you need to get me a nicer house." And I stormed up to the front door.
I know I know, it was a bitchy thing to say, but Brian had just shocked me with all of this talk about babies.
I pushed the doorbell and waited while Brian ran to catch up with me.
"Babe." He murmured, leaning over and kissing my cheek. "All I'm asking is that you just think about it."
Thank Christ Matt opened the door and we could end that conversation, I mean we'd barely been married two months and he wanted children already.
"Matt." I said smiling as he opened the door. "The place looks amazing."
"Oh it is." He said stepping back to let us. "It is great, oh and mind the mess, we haven't finished unpacking yet."
"Where's Lana?" I asked, glancing around.
"Upstairs, she fell asleep on the couch so she's having a quick shower." He said, leading us so we could look around.
"Busy few days?" I asked and I imagined they were both exhausted from moving.
"It was." Matt said smiling and I couldn't help but notice how happy he looked.
While Lana had originally agreed to moving in with Matt, when it came down to it, Matt had a hell of a time actually convincing her to move in, but finally she'd given up her apartment and moved in.
"It really is beautiful." I said as Matt showed us around and I took the opportunity to get close to Brian and I whispered. "You want babies, I want this."
"Let me show you the pool." Matt said, leading us out to the back yard.
Holy fuck, it was amazing.
"I told Lana I would build her a pool like the one in Tulum." He announced looking proud as punch.
And he had every right to look proud, the pool looked like a little piece of paradise and so much like that pool in Tulum.
"Anyway." He said, turning to face us. "Drink?"
"I would kill for a wine." I said sitting down. I needed something to calm me down.
"Beer?" He asked Brian and that was really a stupid question, of course he wanted a beer.
Matt went inside and Brian sat down beside me.
"It's really nice." He said smiling at me.
"Nice?" I asked him. "Brian it's amazing." And it really was.
"I guess we could look around the area." He said kissing my cheek.
I was shocked, he wanted to look around at houses. He must really want a baby.
"Hi guy's." Lana said bursting out the back door.
I stood up and hugged her. We hadn't seen each other for nearly two weeks, what with them moving and everything.
"How are you?" I asked, hugging her.
"Good." She said smiling, well smiling was an understatement, she was beaming.
"And how is living together?" I asked her grinning. Lana seemed to have a great fear about living together.
"Actually it's really nice Marty." She said softly and yeah, it agreed with her, totally.
She looked amazing, her face was glowing, her eye's were bright and she just looked really happy. I was glad, glad she was so happy.
"What do you think of my pool?" She asked me, smiling.
"I can't wait for summer." I told her. "Because I'm going to be here everyday swimming."
"Aren't you coming on the tour?" Matt asked, walking back out with our drinks.
"I'm not sure." I said glaring at Brian.
"Well Lana is." He said, sitting next to her and slipping his arm around her shoulder.
"I am?" She asked him, looking a little taken back.
"Of course." He murmured to her, leaning over and kissing her.
I took the opportunity to take a mouthful of my wine so I didn't have to see those two being all mushy and I looked at Brian.
I couldn't help myself, I leaned over and kissed him.
"I love you." I murmured softly to him. I felt bad for the way I'd been acting.
"Good." He whispered.
"So Marty." Lana suddenly said, and I turned to look at her. "When are you having a baby?"
Fucking great, it seemed everyone wanted me to have a child.
