Matt's POV

"So I really don't know what to do." Brian said to me.

I sat there, wishing I had some advice to given him, but I didn't, I didn't have a thing. Marty was being ridiculous and it was ruining her marriage. I was pretty sure Brian was just about done, just the way he was talking, I was pretty sure he was going to ask Marty to go home, he'd had enough.

"Do what you think is best." I told him, patting his back.

He nodded. "I just can't listen to her anymore Matt." He said quietly. "I really can't."

"Well." I said, indicating to our beers. "Why don't we finish up and head back."

He nodded. "Yeah, it's time Marty and I talked."

We drained our beers and started the walk back to the hotel. It was kind of depressing, the thought that my friend's marriage was about to end. They'd only been married a short time and it made me think about Lana. How would our marriage go? Admittedly I had confidence, Lana and I talked, so if anything was bothering her I knew she'd tell me and vice versa. Yeah, I couldn't see this happening to Lana and I, I just couldn't and I really hoped Marty and Brian worked there problems out, whatever they were.

"So what is it Brian?" I asked as we walked. "I mean I thought it was something Lana had done, Lana thinks it's something she's done."

"Matt." He sighed. "It's nothing anyone has done, we're trying to have a baby, well we were trying, there really hasn't been much of anything happening lately."

And now I understood, now I understood why Marty was acting so badly towards Lana, it was the baby.

"You know I'm sorry right?" I asked Brian as we walked. "But Lana is my number one and I won't let Marty keep doing this to her."

"Matt I completely understand, I really do."

"I hope you work it out Brian." I told him and I meant it.

"So do I Matt." He muttered. "So do I."

We arrived at the hotel and went our separate ways, Brian to talk to Marty, me up to the room to take Lana out, I was dying just to spend time with her, alone.

I took the elevator up to our floor and let myself into the room. It was quiet so I figured Lana was sleeping and went into the bedroom. She wasn't here and there wasn't a note or anything.

Damn, I thought we were going out, but now she was off doing something and I felt a little pissed, then I laughed, what right did I have to be pissed at her, I was dragging her half way around the world with me just because I couldn't bare the thought of not seeing her.

I pulled my phone out of my pocket and called her. She answered virtually straight away.

"Babe, where are you?" I asked her.

"Are you back?"

"I am." I said smiling.

"I'll be there in a second." She said hanging up.

I didn't know where she was, but she was literally only a few minutes. I heard her key in the door and I watched her walk in.

"Lana, what's wrong?" I asked. Her eye's were all red so I knew she'd been crying.

"I'm alright." She said softly, walking over and wrapping her arms around me.

I wrapped my arms around her and held her to my chest. We just stood there for a little while.

"What's wrong?" I asked again, pulling away to look down at her.

"Nothing Matt." She murmured, looking up at me. "How was your day?"

"Interesting." I told her. "But I'm glad I'm back."

"I'm glad you're back too." She murmured and I kissed her softly.

"So are we going out?" I asked her.

She nodded. "If you want too."

"I want to do what you want to do Lana." I said smiling and I had a fair idea what she wanted to do.

"Oh thank god." She muttered. "Are you sure?" And I stood there watching her rip her dress over her head. "Oh god I need to get out of this bra."

I laughed, I couldn't help it, every time she did it I found it hilarious.

She turned and headed into the bedroom and came back out, pulling her little top over her head. I wasn't sure why she bothered with it, it really didn't cover much.

"Is that better?" I asked her, sitting on the couch and pulling her down onto my lap.

"You have no idea." She said smiling and kissing me.

"So I guess we're not going out?" I asked her.

She bit her lip, looking at me. "I mean we can if you want to."

I shook my head. "It's fine baby." I murmured. "I've been out all day."

"Did you talk to Brian?" She asked, making herself comfortable on my lap.

I sighed. "I did, and it's not good Lana." I told her, touching her cheek. "Brian seems done."

She frowned. "I hope not Matt, because you know what I did today?" She asked me.

"No baby." I murmured. "What did you do today?"

"I spent it with Marty." And she smiled. "We talked and just spent the day hanging out."

"You did?" I was surprised, really surprised. "How is Marty?"

She wrapped her arms around my neck and laid her head on my chest. "She's sad Matt and she needs her friends, and she needs Brian." She murmured. "He can't give up on her."

"Well." I whispered, kissing her forehead. "If she talked to you, hopefully she'll talk to Brian."

"I really hope so." She said quietly and I hoped so too.

"So we're just going to hang out here tonight?" I murmured and she nodded against my chest.

I was happy to hang out in the room, I was happy to do whatever she wanted as long as I was with her.

"We can do whatever." She murmured and I realised she was falling asleep.

I sat there, with Lana curled up asleep on my lap thinking. Hopefully Brian and Marty would work it out, they'd been together for so long, it wouldn't be right if they broke up now.

I pulled Lana close and looked down at her sleeping. I was sick of worrying about everyone else. I wanted to concentrate on my life and after this tour was over I think it's time to take a little a hiatus.

I put my hand on Lana's stomach and I wasn't surprised to feel the baby moving around. It seemed this baby never stayed still.

I smiled, feeling our baby kick. Yep, we would take a hiatus and I would spend my time concentrating on Lana and our baby, spend my time concentrating on the loves of my life.
