Martina's POV

I woke up excited, finally the baby was here and I was dying to go in and meet her, she was all I could think about since I'd left the hospital yesterday.

Avery, such a beautiful name and every time I thought about her I would just start crying for absolutely no reason.

"Babe." Brian said, walking into the kitchen and interrupting me. "What are you doing?"

I quickly wiped my face. "Can we go to the hospital?" I asked him, I desperately wanted to go.

"Can I at least have breakfast first?" He asked, coming over and kissing me.

I sighed. "I guess."

He smiled at me and pulled me close. "Are we even allowed to visit, I mean when are visiting hours?"

"I don't care when visiting hours are." I told him. "I want to see Avery, I'm her Aunt and I have every right to see her."

"Geez okay Marty." Brian laughed, kissing me again. "I'll eat quickly."

I smiled and sat down, watching him make some breakfast, I was over the anger I felt for him last night, after disappearing on the golf course and not answering his phone.

He smiled at me through a mouthful. "Go and get ready babe."

I nodded, he was right of course, I should get ready.

So I did just that. I went and had a shower, spent a little time doing my hair, then got dressed, admiring myself in the mirror.

"Marty." Brian said, entering our bedroom. "Why are you so dressed up?"

I looked at him. "I want to make an impression Brian."

"An impression on who?" He asked frowning.

I shook my head. "Avery you dummy."

He laughed. "I don't think she'll care what you wear Marty." And of course he was right.

I don't know what I was thinking? "God you're right." I cried, grabbing my purse.

"I don't mind babe, you look pretty hot to me." He said softly, kissing me.

Bless him for making me feel better. "Thank you." I whispered.

"It's okay babe." He murmured. "I mean you had a bad day yesterday."

I nodded. "I did, it was scary."

"I bet it was." He said smiling. "Lana was lucky you were there."

I nodded, he was right, I would never get the image of us standing in her bathroom and her water's breaking all over our feet.

"Why were you at Lana's?" He asked, heading for the front door.

"OH FUCK." I cried and Brian turned back to look at me.

"What?" He asked, looking concerned. "What's wrong?"

"Oh god." I said and then I started crying. "In all the excitement yesterday I forgot."

"Oh god Marty." He said coming over and pulling me into his arm's. "Forgot what? What is it?"

"Oh I'll be a horrible mother." And I buried my face in his chest.

"Why would you say that." He murmured, holding me. "You'd be a wonderful mother."

"Oh god." I said looking up at him. "Brian I forgot, the most important day of our lives and I forgot all about it."

"Okay." He said softly. "Calm down Marty, you're getting all worked up, okay?'

I nodded and he wiped the tears off of my cheeks.

"Now tell me what you forgot?" He asked softly.

"Oh Brian." I whispered, putting my hands on his chest. "I'm pregnant."

"What?" He asked, wide eyed.

I nodded and started blubbering again. "That's what I was doing yesterday when Lana exploded all over my feet, taking a test and it was positive, I just forgot." And I burst into to tears all over again.

"Oh god." He murmured, hugging me tightly. "You're really pregnant?"

"I am." I sobbed, nodding my head against his chest.

He took my face in his hands and kissed me softly. "Baby." He murmured. "This is the best news, ever."

"It is isn't it." I sniffled, wiping my face. "We're going to have a baby."

"God yes." He smiled. "We are." And he pulled me close, kissing me deeply. "You're just so wonderful Marty." And he had me crying all over again. "Shhhh." He murmured, holding me and we stood like that for at least ten minutes.

"Oh I'll have to fix my make up." I told him, once we got all the mushy stuff out of the way.

"Well hurry." He said, kissing my nose. "Avery is waiting."

That spurred me on and I rushed into the bathroom, horrified at what I saw, but I quickly touched it up before heading back out to Brian.

"I'm ready."

"Good." He said, putting his arm around my waist and leading me to the car.

He held my hand on the drive over to the hospital and he held it as we walked in, making our way to the room Lana and Avery were in.

"Stop." I cried when we were almost there. "A gift?"

He chuckled. "We can get one later, let's just go and meet this princess."

"Okay." I smiled and we made our way to the door, knocking softly.

Matt opened the door smiling and I looked at him and burst into tears again.

"Congratulations." I sobbed, throwing myself at him.

"Thanks." He said smiling and he just looked so damn happy.

I wiped my face again, wondering why the fuck I bothered with my make up and I looked over to see Lana sitting on her bed, with a little pink bundle in her arms.

"Show me." I asked, walking over and Lana held the little bundle out to me and I took her into my arms.

She was sleeping, but god, she was beautiful, and so perfect, and so tiny and I stood there, studying her face.

"She looks like the both of you." I said smiling at Matt and Lana.

Matt shook his head. "No, she's more Lana than me." And Lana shook her head, disagreeing with him.

"Whatever." Brian said, looking over my shoulder. "Let's just say that she's obviously your child."

"That she is." Matt said smiling proudly.

"Here." I said holding her out to Brian. "Hold her."

"I don't know Marty." He said scratching his nose. "She's tiny."

"You have to get used to it." I said softly and I felt that wave of excitement rush over me at the fact that I, I was going to have baby.

"You do." Lana said smiling at him.

I watched as he took Avery in his arm's and oh god, I was blubbering again, so I walked over to Lana and hugged her tightly.

"She's so perfect." I sobbed. "You did a wonderful job, I'm so glad that I've met her."

Lana smiled at me and placed her hand on my stomach. "And I can't wait to meet this one."

And that was it, I went to pieces, sobbing hysterically. I was just so happy and excited, so emotional and so pregnant.

God, I couldn't believe it, I was actually pregnant.
