Chapter Five~The First Day

I walk out of the building, thinking about what just happened. "What the—"

I hail a taxi and immediately went home.

I woke up 8 hours later.

"4:04" AM

I brush my teeth and took a quick shower.

I slip two different color pairs of socks on and looked at my phone again.

4:37

I hail the first taxi I saw but it ignored me.

"Great" I moan. I lift up my thumb again, and hailed another taxi.

It stops, making a screeching noise.
I jump inside.

I take out the piece of paper from my bag

"1987 Cloverfield Rd Please."

He starts up the car and begin driving.

4:50 AM

After a few minutes, the taxi drove up to a big penthouse.

"Wow." Looking out the window.

Finally, I reached to the 5 floor and knocked on apt 5c.

I'm so nervous that my hands are shaking. All of sudden, a lady holding a broom opens the door.

"What do you need Dear?" She answers.

"Umm, I am Mr. Jones new assistant." I responded while cleaning my glasses.

"Oh! Please come in."

I do as I was told. His apartment is so big compared to mine. It's like two mansions smushed together.

"Here." She gives me a piece of paper.

"Mr. Jones made a list for you, he's asleep right now so you can go ahead awake him up when you're finished."

"Wait. I have to wake him up?" I said. "Oh geez."
I stare at the list.

"Coffee"
With Milk and Sugar

"That's it?"

After I made the coffee, I slowly walk down to his room door. I open the door as silently as I can and sneak inside.

There, I saw him sleeping on his bed... naked. The covers covers up the area only showing his bare legs and torso.

"Oh my god..."

The cup drops.

He wakes up to the sound.
