Just little thoughts and shmeels; a Random Book filled with likely to be crazy things that you don't even know if they'd make sense or not...I mean, I know they don't, so-

You know, this guy really has a point....now, I won't lie, I personally haven't seen anything this bad on Wattpad, and nor do I dare to click the trending stories with the story covers that are related to such a theme....which may be where these "medias" come from, but again, I wouldn't dare to know that.
Now the part that really got me were the sexual predators...let me tell you a story.....

Nintendo DSi fans, where are you? The ones who just loved the free apps, remember that? And they never failed to satisfy, I'll tell you that much! For those who do and don't know, there was this really popular app called Flipnote Hatena (fans, join me down memory lane for a moment...............OK, back to the story!)....
It was an app where it literally was what it sounded like- you know those little drawings you can make on sticky notes, and if you flip through, it looks like a moving picture? Well, Flipnote Hatena was the same exact thing, but digital (but oh so realistic with that GOD FORSAKEN PAGE LIMIT!...sorry), and just like Wattpad, you can add media.
Now here's the thing, people knew how to use the media properly....the crazy stuff was when it got to the comment sections and....I can't remember, but I think there was private messaging.....not sure, but it got just as bad as the situation on Wattpad- trust me, I know!....Let's just say I went to certain comment sections at the wroooong times.....yeah!
*I think they brought it back for the Nintendo 3DS with much stricter rules than before- but even so, I hear it doesn't have the same fun vibe it used to have!
In response to multiple complaints, reports, and bannings of users, Nintendo shut down the app for the sake of the younger audiences (oh and it definitely had younger audiences!). You could have still used the offline Flipnote Studio for your own purposes...but it was nothing without the online function, trust me! It was like making YouTube videos and not being able to upload them on YouTube!
TheUltimateFatMan made just one of the complaints on here. This could just be the beginning of our end....

Wattpadders, let's be serious here, and make sure we label these stories as Mature (at the very least; Note: Flipnote was worse....there was no, "Mature Filter"....think about that), report any predators, and anything else used to attract viewers using mislabeled works. And let's also be sane about what's being put into these books please? Like come on....I believe there are websites for that kinda stuff.....
We don't want Wattpad to be shut down forever or brought back as some boring "Nott-Pad." This is a place with excellent writers, of a great age-range. Utilize the First Amendment considerably please, would you want to have a child see what's beyond the "Birds-and-the-Bees?" I didn't think so!
As for Wattpad, let's investigate a little more please? Don't immediately burn this thing to the ground, take action first. You really have a remarkable piece of software running here! Let's keep it as so. I know you guys are smart, you've faced multiple lawsuits AND won all of them! It's because of those wins you are what you are. Now (and hopefully never!) is not the time to slip up.
