Let's consider this one a direct follow-up to the last NMT, because I forgot to mention something in the last one.

It's a shame to say that "Logan" was only my favorite movie for about 9-10 hours. 😂

I saw "Logan" the night before seeing "Wonder Woman." Today, I finally saw the latter, and wow.

Walking out of that theater, I immediately went into a mental debate on what was my favorite movie. For some reason, I was already ready for "Wonder Woman" to dethrone "Power Rangers" as my top movie. But, I had no idea I was gonna see "Logan" the day before, until the day of seeing it. And, I had no idea on the true power of the final "Wolverine" installment.

It was during the ride home when something hit me. It's not so much a spoiler-saver, but I am going to be a bit vague on this next part...

At the end of the movie, our main hero narrates the end scene with such inspirational words of a better world and the true answer on how to achieve that. It's not only as if she was speaking of her fictional world, it was like a message was being spoken to the audiences, to the people of the real world. In fact, the whole movie snuck a few messages about problems in our world.

And let's be real, so what if this sounds feminist? Feminism is a great movement, it's bad enough women even need a movement to be heard.

Also, can we stop complaining that this Wonder Woman "wasn't American enough?" Wonder Woman was never American to begin with, they just gave her that appearance so she can appeal to the masses. Yes, she was an American hero, but she's Greek! And if certain Americans can't appreciate that, then I'm gonna say that as your fellow citizen (Puerto Rican, but born in America), I don't appreciate you.

I don't use this word often to describe anything, but it was only this movie that made me think "glorious." This movie, is a glorious 5/5.

In a way, I kinda wish they started the DC Extended Universe with this movie instead of "Man Of Steel." It would've chronologically looked better too. Like, do her movie, then Superman's, then make "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn Of Justice," where she makes her grand return, in which people will already have a great impression of her. As a matter of fact, can we not include "Batman vs. Superman" in that? That movie was more than just that! It was really just a "Dawn Of Justice."

Speaking of the latter, I now feel snug within the DCEU after this movie, and will now feel even more confident about watching "Justice League" later this year. That's not to say the last movies made me feel uncomfortable! "Man Of Steel" was great, but that was only the beginning, so nothing could be assured at that time. "Dawn Of Justice" was good, but again, was mistitled and misguided, and perhaps rushed. And "Suicide Squad" was better, but apparently the "more" that we all wanted from that movie was actually deprived from us on purpose with a lot of movie editing...

"Wonder Woman" has solidified the standing in the DCEU, and hopefully the film makers can distinguish the goods and bads between their previous movies and this one- and then implement their findings into their future movies (because we have a long road to follow them on)!
