Welcome back everyone! How are ya?

Let's get into it, this movie drove me insane as far as hype goes! I basically have been following this movie before they even had an official confirmation that it was going to happen, before they even had a written script! And that was like....two years ago?....wow. Not as long as I thought, but I remember them saying it wasn't going to have a crazy budget.

Anyway, I wanna rate it first. I give it a 4.98/5. Why am I depriving it from a full 5? Well, I don't hate or dislike the movie because of the usual hate reasons, such as casting, plot, etc.

This movie could've had more. This is a movie I definitely could've gone butt-numb to and watch for a half-hour more. I agree with critics on ONLY the fact that some characters needed more development. I wish they had explained-

**SPOILERS**

-why and how El Diablo transformed at the end (I had to look it up after the movie) and add more background story to characters like Killer Croc and Katana. Not Slipknot though; I appreciate that DC tried to revitalize their lesser used Batmam villain, but if you research him, he's a really cheap character. I'm glad he died. Wait, actually let me give credit to the Joker and Harley Quinn backstories, I really appreciated the fact that they included Ace Chemicals in this movie- it showed how Joker actually became Joker; how his skin paled, his hair green....loved it. And just...the love story with him and Harley...was beautiful. Sadistically, beautiful.

But other than that, the movie soundtrack was appropriate to the point, casting was perfect, and the story was pretty good. Oh and Jared Leto was an amazing Joker in this movie, and Margot Robbie and Will Smith surprised me too!

But yeah, like seven scenes were cut and/or refilmed (like the part where Joker and Batman actually met face-to-face....), and it's evident in the movie- but not enough to hate it really, so again- shut up critics! Get you and your Rotten Tomatoes outta here!

Anyway, down to the juicy stuff...

So there was a lot in this movie that got me thinking. For those who just want to know: No, Deathstroke and/or Nightwing are not in this (sorry). But, there's definitely some set-up for the two. Let's start with Deathstroke.

At the end of the movie, Deadshot says he is going back to Gotham to settle some "business" (I'm firmly guessing it has to do with Batman). This could be the origins story on how Batman met Deadshot, and they'll most likely want to show that in the upcoming solo Batman movie (2018 or 2019)....but, that's quite a lot for one Batman movie....they want to show him going toe-to-toe with Joker in there as well....

Either DC doesn't mind merging two comics together, or what I'm thinking is, they want to make like a "Batman: Arkham Origins" inspired adaptation...

If you don't follow the Arkham video games, the third installment "Arkham Origins" basically shows how Batman met most of his enemies, as they all are in a race to kill Batman before the night ends to win the award. This includes the introduction of Joker, Deadshot, Bane, Deathstroke, and more....

Anyway, going back to reality, a reporter (from some place) asked someone who works with the TV series, Arrow, if any of the two characters, "Deathstroke and/or [insert name here, i forgot!]" will return to the series.

The guy said the other dude will definitely return, but not Deathstroke because "he is in some other project...."

They only remove characters from TV if they are appearing in movies....coincidence?!....Not sure...

As for Nightwing, well, let's take it back to Batman v. Superman. Remember the Robin suit in the background? Well, the only Robin that is "dead" is Jason Todd, but he is the second Robin. This implies that the first Robin, aka Dick Grayson has already left Batman as his sidekick to become Nightwing....so somewhere in Gotham, somewhere in the DC Cinematic Universe, there is a Nightwing somewhere...

And maybe that's why they didn't give Killer Croc his backstory in Suicide Squad, they're probably trying to cover up the existence of Robin being in any future movies!!....Confused?

Before Dick Grayson was Robin in the comics, he was in a circus with his family as a child. But one day, his parents were murdered by the one and only: Killer Croc. Later joining Batman, he figured he could take his chance to get revenge on Killer Croc. But because Batman disciplined him so well, Robin decided not to.

So, Deathstroke, Nightwing, AND Robin are potential movie characters (because I said so)!

But wait....I read about this theory and it was shot down hard, BUT, it is possible....the Red Hood might also be in the solo Batman movie, or its sequel...

In the comics, The Red Hood is actually Jason Todd- it's found out that he isn't actually dead. He finds out that Batman hasn't taken revenge and killed the Joker in his name, and is angered by this- disregarding that Batman doesn't kill. He also finds out that Batman has already found a third Robin- Tim Drake, and feels replaced. So Todd gets a cool outfit and basically becomes Batman with guns, so he can do what Batman won't: kill.

Finally, after fulfilling several of his deeds, he is left with facing the Joker. He finds him and is literally a pull of the trigger away from killing the Joker once and for all....but Batman stops him from doing so, and that's when Batman makes everything clear for Jason. Jason forgives Batman and lets Joker go for this time....but tells Batman that he will not be like him, he will kill if he gets to the crime first.

Anyway, I digress. That's my Suicide Squad Review and Post-Suicide Squad thoughts and theories that the movie provoked me to think. Thanks! Sorry this was shorter than my other ones, but I don't have problems with this movie really! It was an art!

**Update: Less than a year later, I finally got to see the Extended Version of this movie. My rating stands the same, as there were some small parts I was happy with that they added, but again, there could've been so much more. It wasn't too much of an improvement unfortunately, and this version still deprived Jared Leto of his necessary screen time. In fact, there's a scene in this version in which it shows the abusive relationship Harley is in with Joker. I saw a behind-the-scenes video of this on YouTube, and Joker actually back-handed her! In the Extended Version, they the whole scene, except the slap.

NO, I DO NOT SUPPORT WOMEN ABUSE. I MYSELF, VOWED TO NEVER HIT A WOMAN.

But, the movie deprived the audiences and fans of probably one of the most vital scenes in the DC Extended Universe. And from what it looks like, probably a lot more considering Jared Leto claimed that the movie could've easily been a movie about The Joker!
~Not that I wanted a "Joker" movie, but if you want us to love this new actor as this iconic character, give him the spotlight OR DON'T PUT HIM IN THE MOVIE AT ALL.

Cheap filmmakers. No wonder why "Wonder Woman" did better....
