You Don't Even Know...

Regarding My Works

Alright, down to business.

I've had big plans for a very long with some of my books, and unfortunately things didn't work out the way I thought.

But this doesn't mean I'm stopping anything, I'm gonna pick up where I left off! So, what books are we talking about? "Legend of the Black Phoenix," "Chaos Heroes," "The Final War," and "I Am All But All Is Not I."

"But hey, I thought you finished those first two?"

Yus I did. But I've been doing some thinking, and as you know, I've been wanting to edit them thoroughly for a long time. BUT, I want to do more with them.

I'm not giving names, titles, or any other extra information just yet, but...

Here we goooo....

I would like to announce that I will also be rewriting "LOTBP" and "Chaos Heroes." And no, that is not the same as me 'editing' both stories. These new versions will have a major difference from the originals, and I am currently working on a naming convention for these stories.

The difference these new stories will have is that they will not connect with one another, as my readers popularly know that they do, and is what makes them unique. With that said, I understand the crossover effect was beginning to catch on in favor with the readers, especially with "The Final War" (but I wouldn't be surprised if you've fallen off after this hiatus, and I am oh so sorry for that).

So, this does not mean I'm deleting the originals, they were projects I worked too hard to create, it would be a shame to get rid of them. I will have both versions up and running, especially after I go through and edit the originals ("TFW" will also go through editing once completed).

So you must be wondering, why make these versions?

Well, I'm actually mainly doing it for "LOTBP," but I know it will benefit both stories in some way.

For "CH," I'm uncertain how I will approach that one, but I'm thinking to remove the extra universes and keep it in just Sonic's. This now means I have to rework the antagonists in "Resurrection," or, if I keep the same enemies, I need to rework the ending of that part of the saga to create a real ending to the story, as opposed to the cliffhanger I left before (this may also mean the story could get longer with new chapters). Plus, I think with the recent release and success of the "Sonic the Hedgehog" movie, new fans will be lured into my book 😏. But really, the goal was to have everything finished- even "TFW-" before it came out, I wanted to make sure my foundation was set before Hollywood stole my light. Oh well 🤷‍♂️.

As for "LOTBP," I have bigger plans for...See, "CH" is fanfiction, which means I'm using characters that are not mine. "LOTBP" is largely mine, with the exception of the three entities hinted that are not mine (not saying here, but if you've been paying attention, you already know Sonic is one).

But because these entities are not as heavy of an influence to their main story, "LOTBP" will be much easier to rewrite into its own standalone...

Now, the reason I am rewriting these stories is because I believe "LOTBP" has large potential as a story; not to speak so highly of it, but I feel like the ideas in the story are truly unique- so much so, that it may spark an interest to a variery of people. So, I've decided that I want to have "LOTBP" published as a real book. And I know it's not as easy as it sounds, but I really want to make it happen, because I think it would truly have some interest.

And I know what you're thinking, yes, there are some preeetty sensitive areas in that story, especially in regards to how religion is bended in that story. But at the same time, I'm willing to take that risk of controversy, because if anyone who has read it knows, that I've always made sure no one was harmed or offended in those stories, and if anyone was or is, I'd like to know because I mean no disrespect.

Which, again, I'll be sure to go through and edit this story, and I'll be sure to reach out to a variety of people I know to make sure something doesn't come off as biased or excessive. And for any blasphemy, I always make sure it's clear that it is from the perspective of an evil character, and not the narrator's (me).

Unless Sega wants to hire me for something, I would have no use for "CH" from a professional standpoint, the pinnacle of the glory I strive to have for that story stops here. So, since I want one book to be disconnected, I might as well rewrite "CH" too, just so there isn't an awkward one-sided ending from one series.

In addition, I still want "TFW" to be a thing, I've worked hard to get to that story and I am not letting up now. I promised too much to give up, and now that nothing will stop me, I will see the end to that story; it's a culmination of all my work, so to end it now puts it all to waste, and makes its predecessors look meaningless. Don't worry, I still have big things coming for its plot, stay tuned...

With all that said, I'd also like to publish my poetry book, "I Am All But All Is Not I." I don't necessarily have a more thorough plan for that, simply because it's not exactly complete. I know I write as my feelings come to be, so really, the book won't ever really be done. Plus, I don't think the amount of poems there are would be enough for a "book." I'm thinking to maybe set a high maximum of poems to have done before doing that. Maybe 100? I know it'll take a while to get there, but that seems more reasonable if you ask me. I don't know yet, I know I want to publish my poetry in some way, that's all.
