This will be a shorter review as there isn't too much to talk about this movie, but I really wanted to talk about this bit!
"Arrival" is another one of those alien movies where aliens arrive on Earth and there's this whole event on "why are they here?"
What I like about this movie, is that this is not a generic alien-movie where the aliens want to take over the planet. There's actually a little curveball in the movie's plot that sort of digresses from the stereotype of alien movies. If I say what it is, I'll spoil the movie (so go see it yourself)!
The cast was great, the timing was a bit short for me, but it balanced out with the longer build-ups.
Overall, I give "Arrival" a 4.95/5; 0.05 short of a perfect 5, because the movie was a bit slow at certain points and a big question at the end that really makes you wonder about the future of this movie.
