You Don't Even Know...

FANBOYING HARD

OMG. OMG. OH. MY. GOSH.

So yesterday, I had the best YouTube experience ever! And this is better than the CSNACKS event from earlier in this book.

As some of you know, I love video game-based music, as I know a few YouTube channels who are great at making them. But yesterday, one of the ones I listen to, Rockit Gaming, was having a live stream (or as they call it, a "Couch Party"). I usually don't watch any of those videos, and if I were, I'd add it to my Watch Later playlist. Except yesterday afternoon, I was sorta invited...

A few days ago, I heard one of their older songs, but it was an original song (in other words, not about video games). This is it below in case you wanna hear, it's called "Thief & The Knight:"

Being that, I wanted to know the inspiration of this song, I was curious. Now, I got lucky once when CSNACKS replied to me, but I didn't expect Rockit to do so. A few days later (yesterday), I got an e-mail...someone replied to my comment.

It was Rockit Gaming.

I was kinda shocked to see that really, but what did he say?

He didn't answer my question, but instead, he said to ask that question again on tonight's (well, last night's) live stream. I agreed and waited the day for YouTube to notify me. Hours later, I got the notification, "COUCH PARTY #12..."

I clicked on it, and I was the third one there. There was a music video playing, never heard that one yet; it was his new Overwatch song he was hyping us for prior. The song ended, and the screen switched to two people on a couch holding guitars. And there sat and stood Rockit Gaming, Rockit himself sitting.

He then started naming off people, greeting people, and OH MY GOODNESS, HE SAID HI TO ME! You may have seen my post about it yesterday, but dudes and dudettes, it was awesome! I wanted to cry a bit 😂

But wait, there's more!

So I remembered I had to roleplay with someone, and it was only a matter of time before I had to go to sleep for school the next day. Besides, Rockit said the Q&A was going to be at the end of the stream, so for some reason, I already knew I was gonna miss it. So I sorted my priorities and decided to continue RP'ing (you know who you are if you're reading this, you're welcome! 😂).

So I did that for what was supposed to be 15 minutes, but it lasted an hour, so I already knew I was screwed when I woke up this morning  (respective to when I wrote this), and I kinda was, I felt a bit sleep deprived, but that's OK, I needed the chill time.

But before I went to sleep, I wanted to see real quick if the Couch Party was still going. I got off Wattpad and got on YouTube and found the video. It was actually still on!

I asked the other Live Chatters if I missed the Q&A session, and they said yes...he was already playing his last two songs 😔...or three....or four- whatever! And he never answered my question about that song...

All for nothing....

At least that's what I thought. I got into some small talk with the others so I can leave to go to bed real quick,  and the song that was on was almost over, it was his Mafia III song. Then, before the song even finished, his face popped up on the screen, then it zoomed in. It looked like he had something to say.

Then the unbelievable happened. He stopped the song that was playing, addressed me again, and said he forgot my question, he's sorry.

O.M.G.

THIS GUY, INTERRUPTED A STREAM FOR ME! A POPULAR YOUTUBER, STOPPED A SONG, TO ANSWER MY QUESTION, WHEREAS I'M BASICALLY IRRELEVANT, I JUST JOINED YOUTUBE TWO MONTHS AGO (respective to when I wrote this)!!!

He said he really wanted to answer my question and that's why he stopped for a moment. Again, see for yourself! Fast forward any one of those videos to 1:33:30!

Rockit told his story to us, as the whole live chat went silent while he told it, and then he decided to play the song.

Best. Wednesday night. Ever.

I thanked him twice after the song and went to bed with the cheesiest smile on my face.

Yeah, it's not too much really, not gonna lie, Rockit Gaming isn't my favorite...but he's still good, and that was an honor enough!

THE HONOR IS REAL! 😭

Like, I felt like I met a god...not like a Zeus god of course, more like...a Hermes. Again, they're not like "YouTube celebrity" famous, but they're out there...

I just really needed to share this, like, I have a quiz today (again, respective to date) and I thought I was going to be bummed out, but NO!

My day, is awesome right now. ROCKIT GAMING, said my name twice, and played my jam.
