OH MY GOSH!

OH MY GOSH!

I KNOW I'M THREE DAYS LATE, BUT FORGIVE ME FOR MY HIATUS BUT OH MY GOSHNESS!

For those who don't know how important Disney's purchase in Fox's TV and film departments, let me explain!

Remember how I've said before that Disney/Marvel does not have all their characters, because before Disney took over Marvel, they gave some of their characters for Fox to make movies with- which is why we haven't seen them (Fantastic Four, X-Men, Ghost Rider, Blade) in the Marvel Cinematic Universe yet?

THAT'S WHY THIS PURCHASE IS IMPORTANT, because now Marvel has ALLLL of their characters at home where they belong, and now movies will be awesome!

How unfortunately late however, because in the original comic in which "Captain America: Civil War" was based upon, the X-Men, Spider-Man, and the Fantastic Four (eh, actually mostly Mr. Fantastic) were VERY crucial characters in the comic book. Disney/Marvel was just lucky to have the best of that bunch in a last-minute deal to nab Spider-Man!

Seriously, you fans who are fans by only the movies have NO idea what you missed out on! The comic book "Civil War" was huge. Consider the following...:

*Sounds about right, unfortunately...

And then another problem is how well-connected Wolverine and Captain America are...more on that later.

Anyway, now this changes a lot of things as far as what is and isn't canon, and I'm talking about only one movie really: "Deadpool."

You see, Deadpool made some references here and there to the Marvel Cinematic Universe [MCU], in which now those references are funnier and even more sensible- because now they exist in the same universe. That scene where the creators playfully threw in what was confirmed to be, but not labeled as a S.H.I.E.L.D. HELICARRIER? It's canon now. That post-credit scene where Deadpool talks about Nick Fury? So canon and so fourth-wall-breaking awesome!

But notice how I emphasized the shared uinverse. That's right, Marvel has already said they aren't going to reboot the X-Men franchise (I mean, that would be stupid, because that's a long line of movies that would go to waste), that they are going to wait and see where the following movies will go, and take it from there...

And yes, because of this, Disney has agreed to keep all necessary movies (like Deadpool) Rated-R, and might in fact create a new brand solely for Rated-R Marvel movies (I'm gonna call it "Marvel daRk"...see what I did theRe?...no?...fine)...

But anyway, this means MORE big things! Unfortunately, I believe "Avengers: Infinity War" is already done filming and is well satisfied with its main cast of 67 characters.

BUT, now they're working on "Avengers 4," in which Sebastian Stan (Winter Soldier) has already claimed the movie is going to be huge and insane- even before this Disney/Fox purchase.

Now here's a cool idea. So we all know Hugh Jackman has retired to play Wolverine. BUT, in two interviews, Jackman has stated himself that if the X-Men and Avengers had crossed over earlier, he would most definitely continue his role as Wolverine! In fact, he would have loved to mostly work with Iron Man and Hulk. But now he says, "that ship may has sailed..."

A part of me wants to hope he's just covering it up and is actually filming something...but I'm just gonna shut it down there...

But say if he was. How cool would it be if Hugh Jackman wound up being thrown into "Avengers: Infinity War?"

And I already thought of a scene for it: The heroes want more help and don't know who to go to. Captain America (who by comics has fought with him in wars in the past) says something cool like, "I might know a guy," then boom we see Jackman's awesome face as Wolverine one more time?!

I was originally thinking about this for "Avengers 4," but I forgot Captain America will not return for it, so there goes that... 😔

Another cool way Cap' and Wolvie are connected is that in the comics, the scientist who was trying to create the vibranium shield, accidentally created adamantium: Wolverine's claws (skeleton). Also, Cap's shield contains some adamantium. Of course, they couldn't mention this before, because Fox owned such properties.

In addition, remember Ultron, from "Avengers: Age Of Ultron?" Yeah, in the comics, he wasn't made of vibranium either, it was adamantium too. Again, they couldn't do it.

In conclusion, here's what Marvel can do now: either add their newfound characters into "Avengers 4" (thus, the likely debut of Hugh Jackman's Wolverine successor) or wait until this Avengers saga is over and start fresh with their new peeps. Who knows?

By the way, the Disney/Fox deal doesn't only include winning back all their Marvel characters.

Disney also has gained some new movie franchises: Avatar, Independence Day, the rest of Star Wars, and Alien.

And because of the latter, Disney definitely has no choice but to accept Rated-R moves!

Which is interesting really, because these are definitely all properties that could be worked with to cross over into Marvel's...think about it. Marvel is currently publishing Star Wars comics, the Alien franchise has crossed over with superheroes (with DC however) at one point, and...yeah, the other two are in space- just like all the others!

Space is a big place, at least until you have portals, and I'm pretty sure Marvel and Star Wars familiarize their audiences with that concept quite deeply...

Well, I'm stoked about this deal! I can't wait to see what's going to come of it! Marvel claimed to have had 20 more years of fresh movies after Avengers was over, now imagine how many there'll be! 😱

And I say "fresh," because everyone working at Marvel has claimed that they will never do something so big and complex ever again. They all have agreed that it is quite a pain the bootay...

Btw, the facts I'm stating here are facts. I just can't (and wouldn't have anyway) post links here with proof. However, the articles I speak of do exist on different websites.

OK, it's 4:02 AM now. My time of dedication and one-sided love to Wattpad is up now. Adiós peeps!
