'Tis been a while, huh?
Welcome back everyone, it was 2016 last time I did this! Happy New Year!
So, the movie is (see title)!
This movie is a 4.99/5, I'm just gonna get straight to the rating, because I don't have too much to say, but I do have something!
So, right in the beginning, it grabs your attention on Dory and correlates well with Finding Nemo. In fact, the whole movie does!
Finding Dory is kind of a prequel and sequel at the same time, because it time-jumps a lot, but this is definitely a movie that filled in Dory's origins and some lesser spoken of points from Finding Nemo.
Why did I deprive this movie 0.01 from the rating? Because I also give Finding Nemo a 4.99/5. These two movies were on-par!
Finding Nemo isn't perfect, for the fact that it had an amazing story, but less of reality in it. I get it, the fish talk, but 1 or 2 parts are just a bit far-fetched, nothing crazy though...
However, Finding Dory had a spectacular story for a sequel/prequel-thing, and the graphics were stunning! Those two features impressed me for being the second entry....so it could've been a 5/5...
But there were more "goofy" parts in this movie than the last...I can't say or I'll spoil, but while "Nemo" took it easy on being less realistic, "Dory" was more wonky in terms of the things these marine creatures did!
Nevertheless, it is just a Disney movie...I mean, the fish are talking, come on! So even though it wasn't perfect, Finding Dory was indeed clever and just as good as its predecessor!
BUT WAIT, DO ME A FAVOR. WATCH THE MOVIE UNTIL AFTER THE CREDITS! I don't think theaters still screen the movie, so if you have DVD/Blu-Ray/Ultraviolet (Digital), just fast-forward to the end...Disney/Pixar added a nice touch at the end! 😆
