Wild Bill was sittin' outside

The Storytellers Saloon

Watchin' the strangers arrive

He gave a spit of 'baccie

And wondered to himself

Why they choose this day to die

'Cause strangers few

Dared ride into

Busted Gulch at dawn

They stopped and stared

Bill said, "Ain't nothin' here"

"Best you be movin' on"

They hitched their steeds

said, "We have a need"

"For a tall cool drink or two."

With pencils in hand

They made their stand

"Maybe a showdown with you."

Wild Bill laughed aloud

"You must be crazy"

"This town ain't big enough"

"Me and Three gun

And the crazy Dakota Kid,

We got the right stuff"

"Whats the matter old man?

You don't like a challenge

Or are you afraid to try?"

Wild Bill stood up

Took out his pencil and said

"I'll meet you inside."
