I sat at my desk in the Jail.
The varmint from the shootout at the B.G. Saloon was snoring in his cell.
I don't think he has recognized me yet.
I guess the heavy beard and shaved head is doing its job.
I had hoped Busted Gulch would be my last stop, but now I am not sure.
I think 3 Gun knows something.
Why the hell else would he run out of town so fast?
And Lean's brother.
What is it that he has, that is so hush hush?
And why does Lean have to be obliged to old Dr. Vale?
And why does old Doc Vale look so familiar?
And who is this mysterious Highride Ali?
What is it that brought her here, right about the same time as that Irishman, O'Boyle?
And what is he looking for?
Or .... Who?
And where does Crazygoose fit into all of this?
Maybe Ruechari is the key that brings this all together.
I got up and walked to the cell.
"But first I have to deal with Junkyard Jimmy."
