Fish for Fun (2)
It finally looked like there'd be a game
Crazygoose and Lean both came
Cadmus Clod allowed as how he'd play
Soon the game got underway
Deal the cards, 3Gun pleaded
Lean said, first the stakes were needed
A Limmerick, Crazygoose suggested
about who might get arrested
Conversation stopped
They looked at one another
The gauntlet had been tossed
and the inference wasn't lost
Cadmus touched the mole above his eye
He knew what they were thinking
and didn't need to wonder why
He smiled to himself and thought,
'Let them pry.'
The stakes were settled,
the cards were dealt
The play began
The tension felt
Morning changed to afternoon
The game would not be ending soon
Drinks were guzzled
Looks were puzzled, comments peevish
capped by the challenging words 'Go Fish!'
